Gulfport Hong Kong Chinese Food — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

It was disrespectful to serve such low quality food to a paying customer. The fried wantons were so overcooked they were virtually inedible. The fried rice was poorly prepared. The rice included scarcely any meat or vegetables to speak of aside from onions. Indeed, if "rice and onions" sounds like a palatable dish then by all means order their fried rice. In fact one of the slithers of onions was spotted brown, presumably expired.

The spring rolls were inferior to anything procurable at an average Thai restaurant. Greasy, with no flavor complexity at all. Imagine a fried crust over stale cabbage.

Lastly, the majority of their meat dishes are coated and fried in the most unhealthy and tasteless way seemingly possible for a budget Chinese restaurant. I've had cheap Chinese food for a low price that outstrips this joint in every possible way. This place is an insult to cuisine.

It's fit for my trash can and that's exactly where it resides. If they had any respect at all for their customers they wouldn't serve such food. So they don't...

I’m sorry. I do not like giving negative reviews, but I’ll share my experience. The ordering process was easy. When I arrived my order was ready and I checked out quickly. All those things were satisfactory. The negative review is based on the good. I ordered a small Hot and Sour soup. It was hot (temperature) but not spicy at all. It was just “okay”. I also ordered a large Chicken Fried Rice. While the portion was large (enough for two), it was tasteless…little flavor, just not good at all. Even dousing it in soy sauce didn’t help. I threw most of it away. Perhaps other dishes are much better. Anyway, I’m going to have to find a better...

I ordered two large chicken and broccoli. White rice. Which is my go to , I was completely taken back and disgusted to find a melted piece of plastic in my rice. It was like it was pulled out of the garbage ! This was my hands down favorite restaurant to order this from, today the woman gave me glass eyes and looked down at me in disgust made me feel quite uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time I have had this type of behavior happen. I may not go back for a long long time.
