Clymer Park — Attraction in Saint Petersburg

I love riding my bike though this beautifully landscaped area. I'm always looking for someone who can tell me how to be involved. By the way, if you ride a bike, please give way to pedestrians, it's the right thing to do, and its the law. This is a big deal. St. Petersburg Beach restricted bikes on the beach and sidewalks. Stop at stop signs! A bike is a vehicle and is subject to the same laws as a car. Read up on it. Don't force Gulfport to get tough on bikes. I have seen bikes riding on the sidewalk at the Art walk and making people get out of the way! Riding on the sidewalk is legal, but you must give way to pedestrians. It is a nice place to walk, a strip of grass and trees flanked with quaint cottages and shaded streets that runs from Gulfport Boulevard down to the theater, senior center and library. One feature of the park is the Food Forest, an example of edible sustainable landscaping, so one could potentially graze on amaranth, hibiscus or even the occasional Papaya . Beautiful park in the city of Gulfport. Great place to stroll, walk your dog, hug a gorgeous oak tree, admire the newly planted fruit trees and see some interesting sculptures and art work.
