The waitress that served us had a very good attitude. Very sweet & good demeanor. Precious is her name I really enjoyed her good character. Made us feel very comfortable. We enjoyed having her being our server. Keep up the good work. Place was well kept. She seems to enjoy what she does for a living.This review was from a few months ago. Trying to write review for today 5/20/21. Unable to get a new review page. Today we had a bad experience at I Hops. Food was cold,service was poor & a waste of our money. $25.20 is a lot of money to waste on food & service that was poor. Food we were unable to eat or enjoy. The only person I give credit to is the Hostess Cierra. For a person that started the day prior to today,she was doing her job & more. It's a shame that we had this experience. I was very hurt . My husband was so upset he got up & left me there to pay the bill. I told the waitress that the food was awful & that I hope I wouldn't get sick even though I already had started feeling discomfort from what I had eaten there, sausages were cold the sides that were served w/Crepes had a bad taste. Waited forever to get what they serve to drink upon being seated. It's sad that this occurred. My thanks to Cierra that did all she could to help better the situatoin. I should hope dat they give Cierra recognition for the effort of doing all she could to right the wrongs of the waitress dat was supposed to serve us! This place was my favorite,now I feel that it's fallen from grace. Sad very sad. Thanks to Cierra. Keep up the good work.

On the way to this place, I noticed that it had a rating of only ⭐️3.6. Nevertheless, I decided to take a risk and try having breakfast there. As soon as we entered, we had the idea of going to another place, but the other restaurants were far away. Besides, our hunger pushed us to start eating as soon as possible. I ordered a sirloin steak and coffee, while my friend ordered 2 eggs and pancakes. The service was awful. The menus were dirty and had traces of food. We waited a long time for the waiter. The drinks were brought almost at the same time as the food was served. Although I can't say that there were a lot of guests in the dining area. The beef in my dish had a sweet taste, as if the chef had confused sugar with salt. The avocado was overripe, so we declined it. Throughout the visit, no one offered to refill our coffee. Overall, the establishment was mediocre. I hope they will work on improving themselves.

Well, I can say that the service and attention were bad, very slow, and they left you standing waiting for a long time, but it seems that the comments of the people managed to make the owners understand because the attention is more agile, attentive and the Customer service went from bad to very good, I hope they stay that way, I highly recommend the menu 55+ 2x2x2 and their pancakes are delicious! thanks !! 3 MAY 2021 caos Well May 3, 2021 and we returned, what happened is my question fell again with terrible attention, we arrived new staff very young inexperienced lack of training or not, what happened to them? Bueno, ¿por qué reclamar? ¿Quién selecciona al personal? ¿Los eligen porque son amigos de la familia o qué? Cuando eran tres señoras, la atención era mil veces mejor que ahora con tantos camareros sin capacidad de atención y, de paso, debían dejar entrar a la gente y elegir dónde sentarse. y otro para dedicarse exclusivamente a despejar el desorden de las mesas. ! —————————————————————- Comentario anterior creímos seguían mejorando ... no bien, puedo decir que el servicio y la atencion eran malos, muy lentos, y te dejaban de pie esperando un gran tiempo, pero parece que los comentarios de las personas lograron hacer comprender a los dueños porque la atencion es mas agil, atenta y el servicio al cliente paso de pesimo a muy bueno, espero que se mantengan asi, super recomienfo el menu 55+ 2x2x2 y es que sus panqueques son deliciosos ! gracias !!

So here’s the deal.

My boyfriend, two of our friends, and I entered the restaurant at 6:45. they had one cook, so we understood that it would be a bit of a wait and was okay with that. We all work in food service, and we understand.

A nice, new server named Kelly came up, along with a woman named Nicole, who was training her. Kelly took our orders, brought drinks, the whole nine yards. She was new and stressed, so we weren’t upset with her slower pace of things.

30 minutes later, we get to order our meals. Asked for silverware as well. With the one cook and a large table, besides us, we were alright with and was expecting a wait.

Almost an hour later, two plates arrive, with some extra pancakes we ordered. The pancakes were not made as they were meant to be, and my boyfriends Boneless Fried Chicken was so tough his knife couldn’t cut a whole third of his meal. The sides were a bit cool, but fine.

Still no silverware. No refills on drinks in 25 minutes, but we still get it; two servers, one cook, a large table, it can get busy!

Then one newer table gets their food. Then a second. Then a third. No refills. No silverware. The last two plates come out. Kelly is running around stressed and NEW while Nicole is not to be seen.

It’s about 8:15 and we get the check. After about 25 min of no checkup. Since the chicken wasn’t edible, we asked for a discount on that dish. Nicole is VERY rude and short about it,, walking away while I’m finishing my sentence. Another 10 minutes go by being ignored. 10% off the dish.

Then, the tip was not to go to KELLY who did MOST of the work, but to Nicole. The rude, unattentive waitress who was using Kelly’s hard work for herself. We handed Kelly a large tip and a smaller one for Nicole (we don’t believe in stuffing.)

This was absolutely horrendous. I have never been so disappointed or dissatisfied.

To Kelly, good luck and good work under the pressure. You’ll get better.

So I called ahead to IHOP to order my food so I could come in and sit down and enjoy my food immediately when it came straight to the table. But they don't do that whether you offer to pay ahead or not so I place a togo order. And drove 10 min to pick it up. I waited another 20 min get it at IHOP the restaurant and see there's four tables with no more than four people at maybe two of the tables they have two waitresses I sat there for 20 minutes watching my food which is on the counter already when I walked in getting colder and colder and colder and kept being told 1 minute 1 minute I'm a regular customer over there I'm very disappointed I'm a very good tipper. I will never go back again. I walked out and left the food after 20 minutes of waiting just to pay for my food. Also to add injury to insult I told the waitress that I would like to eat dine in with my to go food because that. My husband and I wanted to order a couple other things and when I walked back to sit and with my husband said she just rolled her eyes at you. and then proceeded to tell the other young waitress that I wanted to dine in which case I guess caused the the 20 plus whatever minutes we waited. I don't know I didn't stick around after 20 minutes of waiting and watching our food get cold. and they just totally ignored me and my husband I will be calling corporate the address is 4199 highway State Road 19 or 34th Street South st. Petersburg down around Gulfport don't go there they're rude and disrespectful. And to add insult to injury the last time we were there we spent about $35 on our meal and tipped her almost 15 is she still going to turn around and treat me that way I did I don't remember her name and I didn't see her badged but I know the little young one who wanted to treat us like common criminals and say Well they're going to pay for it first is...

For two people it cost us $50 before tip to eat here. I was honestly very disappointed. The menu online wasn’t the same as in store. They got rid of breakfast burritos and they also ran out of onion rings and French fries during lunch so I had to pick hashbrowns: they used to give large portions but no longer. The food also doesn’t match the pictures. The crepes were tiny triangles without any filling even though the picture showed these big filled crepes rolled up. They were just tossed in the plate no icing and strawberry thrown on top. The breakfast sandwich also wasn’t even made into a sandwich the eggs were on the side along with the cheese which was a tiny slice. The watermelon drink didn’t even have watermelon like in the photos and the blueberries were rotting. The service was extremely slow and despite ordering our appetizers first, we got them when the food came out. They also messed up our drink order twice and we just ordered unsweet tea and lemonade. The hashbrowns were good but I’ve never been given such a tiny amount. It was terribly disappointing from how I remember iHop used to be: and when the bill came and said $50 I was shocked! The tiny cup of unsweet tea was $4?? And a biscuit with an egg and cheese cost $12??? Never coming back

Edit: lowered my review even more because the owner replied publicly just to pretend they followed up with me. They never did and that only made me angrier. They reply with a fake link and say someone will contact you just to look good online but no one will actually reach out to you. I see they did that on other reviews here. Don’t fall for the fake...
