So here’s the deal.
My boyfriend, two of our friends, and I entered the restaurant at 6:45. they had one cook, so we understood that it would be a bit of a wait and was okay with that. We all work in food service, and we understand.
A nice, new server named Kelly came up, along with a woman named Nicole, who was training her. Kelly took our orders, brought drinks, the whole nine yards. She was new and stressed, so we weren’t upset with her slower pace of things.
30 minutes later, we get to order our meals. Asked for silverware as well. With the one cook and a large table, besides us, we were alright with and was expecting a wait.
Almost an hour later, two plates arrive, with some extra pancakes we ordered. The pancakes were not made as they were meant to be, and my boyfriends Boneless Fried Chicken was so tough his knife couldn’t cut a whole third of his meal. The sides were a bit cool, but fine.
Still no silverware. No refills on drinks in 25 minutes, but we still get it; two servers, one cook, a large table, it can get busy!
Then one newer table gets their food. Then a second. Then a third. No refills. No silverware. The last two plates come out. Kelly is running around stressed and NEW while Nicole is not to be seen.
It’s about 8:15 and we get the check. After about 25 min of no checkup. Since the chicken wasn’t edible, we asked for a discount on that dish. Nicole is VERY rude and short about it,, walking away while I’m finishing my sentence. Another 10 minutes go by being ignored. 10% off the dish.
Then, the tip was not to go to KELLY who did MOST of the work, but to Nicole. The rude, unattentive waitress who was using Kelly’s hard work for herself. We handed Kelly a large tip and a smaller one for Nicole (we don’t believe in stuffing.)
This was absolutely horrendous. I have never been so disappointed or dissatisfied.
To Kelly, good luck and good work under the pressure. You’ll get better.

Read moreSo I called ahead to IHOP to order my food so I could come in and sit down and enjoy my food immediately when it came straight to the table. But they don't do that whether you offer to pay ahead or not so I place a togo order. And drove 10 min to pick it up. I waited another 20 min get it at IHOP the restaurant and see there's four tables with no more than four people at maybe two of the tables they have two waitresses I sat there for 20 minutes watching my food which is on the counter already when I walked in getting colder and colder and colder and kept being told 1 minute 1 minute I'm a regular customer over there I'm very disappointed I'm a very good tipper. I will never go back again. I walked out and left the food after 20 minutes of waiting just to pay for my food. Also to add injury to insult I told the waitress that I would like to eat dine in with my to go food because that. My husband and I wanted to order a couple other things and when I walked back to sit and with my husband said she just rolled her eyes at you. and then proceeded to tell the other young waitress that I wanted to dine in which case I guess caused the the 20 plus whatever minutes we waited. I don't know I didn't stick around after 20 minutes of waiting and watching our food get cold. and they just totally ignored me and my husband I will be calling corporate the address is 4199 highway State Road 19 or 34th Street South st. Petersburg down around Gulfport don't go there they're rude and disrespectful. And to add insult to injury the last time we were there we spent about $35 on our meal and tipped her almost 15 is she still going to turn around and treat me that way I did I don't remember her name and I didn't see her badged but I know the little young one who wanted to treat us like common criminals and say Well they're going to pay for it first is...
Read moreFor two people it cost us $50 before tip to eat here. I was honestly very disappointed. The menu online wasn’t the same as in store. They got rid of breakfast burritos and they also ran out of onion rings and French fries during lunch so I had to pick hashbrowns: they used to give large portions but no longer. The food also doesn’t match the pictures. The crepes were tiny triangles without any filling even though the picture showed these big filled crepes rolled up. They were just tossed in the plate no icing and strawberry thrown on top. The breakfast sandwich also wasn’t even made into a sandwich the eggs were on the side along with the cheese which was a tiny slice. The watermelon drink didn’t even have watermelon like in the photos and the blueberries were rotting. The service was extremely slow and despite ordering our appetizers first, we got them when the food came out. They also messed up our drink order twice and we just ordered unsweet tea and lemonade. The hashbrowns were good but I’ve never been given such a tiny amount. It was terribly disappointing from how I remember iHop used to be: and when the bill came and said $50 I was shocked! The tiny cup of unsweet tea was $4?? And a biscuit with an egg and cheese cost $12??? Never coming back
Edit: lowered my review even more because the owner replied publicly just to pretend they followed up with me. They never did and that only made me angrier. They reply with a fake link and say someone will contact you just to look good online but no one will actually reach out to you. I see they did that on other reviews here. Don’t fall for the fake...
