Hi!
I just feel like crying so much. My friend wanted us to eat at Kopper Kitchen on Central Avenue. They sat us at this little table since only one available. The lady said we could move to a booth that was in another room. But turns out they gave it to someone else. Which I understand. There was another booth that opened and my friend wanted a different type of chair because of her back. One waitress said okay. The other waitress said no you cannot move because it will mess up the kitchen. So we stayed. The waitress that said it was okay to move due to my friend's back told the waitress why she wanted the booth. Still said no to the move. We had already ordered soup and salad. Took close to 45 minutes to get our order. They only brought out my friend's full order and only my soup. I had ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. The lady said my sandwich will be out. My friend finished her meal and I did not even get my grill cheese. I was really ignored and did not get my sandwich. We got up after my friend finished her meal and went to the counter to pay. I paid my friend's meal since I told her I was treating her today. I did not go complaining and just said they did not bring my meal. I truly believe the color of my skin was an issue to this waitress. I'm truly so upset at how I was treated. The people that were seated after us were served their meal. The number of customers dwindled down by that time.
I did not imagine this and my friend did complain that they did not bring my food. I only paid for my friend's meal. The cashier lady took off my soup off the bill. No...
Read moreThis restaurant has never been particularly good, but it is very conveniently located for us. We’ve been coming for years and I’ve been told not to review it for all of those years. They were clearly in the weeds today and we were as considerate as possible since we have about 40 years of restaurant management experience amongst us.
However, today they decided to add cucumbers to their veggie omelette which didn’t sit right with my mother. She orders the veggie omelette at least once a week and didn’t want to eat this new variation. She simply asked that it be removed from the bill. We specifically stated that we would happily pay for the sides individually. No complaints were launched at that time (despite many that could have been made).
To our surprise, we were met with some serious HOSTILITY. The new owner, Audri, gave major attitude at the table. She insisted that that’s the way it has always been, it has not, and was incredibly agitated when I mentioned that cucumbers are fruit. As we left, I asked the host for miss Audri’s name which prompted her to CHASE us out to the parking lot and SCREAM at us. All because I mentioned that cucumbers are fruit… And then asked the host...
Read moreAmple parking I back with a rear entrance. Sat ourselves and we're promptly given menus and drink orders taken. On Tuesday specifically they serve cinnamon roll danishes which we tried. They were fresh baked there and still slightly warm be warned, has walnuts if you have an allergy. The food was brought out and everything was exactly as ordered. I had a western omelette with Swiss cheese, home fries, and I got the sausage links from a friend who came with. She doesn't eat pork so win for me. It had good flavor and was cooked nicely. The meat of the sausage was a little lacking in texture but overall it was good. The omelette was filling and and had a great amount of vegetables and meat and had a nice cook with the vegetables being cooked just right. Friend had a biscuit which they lightly pan fried after halving. It had a nice texture and flavor, not too dry as some can be. A little extra season added to the home fries at the table and they were great. Fresh cooked potatoes not frozen or reconstituted as far as I could tell. Although the place was packed, the server was friendly and the food arrived...
