Never have I ever been treated so terribly in my life. The woman taking orders over the phone needs to take a course in how to treat customers STAT. I was ordering lunch for myself and two employees I work with (it’s a medical office that orders lunch from Side Door on a weekly basis) and the woman made fun of the business name and said it was “grammatically incorrect” and then proceeded to mock me and asked “if I was a receptionist and just take orders and demands from the people I work with.” I corrected her and let her know I was the manager of the spa. She then made fun of the business name her again and said “it will be thirty minutes” then hung up on me. She never asked if it was cash or card or told me the amount. I had patients in the room with me so I did not want to go off at her on the phone and was very pleasant with her, but when I hung up the patient told me she overheard and saw how badly I was treated and couldn’t believe it. We love this place. The food there is yummy! After moving away for 5 years, it was great to come back to this little deli. The sandwichs are great. Tons of meat. Which you can buy by itself to take with you, and I found out they also have local delivery. :) The service is also great. My family has been back since August and we have eaten there 4 times, and it hasn't disappointed once. I highly recommend the roast beef on rye with coleslaw, or the Greek salad. The potato salad and desserts are really good too. As far as their breakfast menu I couldn't tell you because we haven't tried it but the name of the business is Side Door Deli, which would infer they specialize in deli stuff like sandwiches. I've been wanting to go here a long time because I love delis. I really enjoyed the matzo ball soup and the baklava. I had a patty melt and it didn't look like they cook the bread which isn't the bread I always eat it on it was brown bread I forget what it's called but they didn't cook it on the grill which is how you make a patty melt it was just dry Brown I guess posted bread very disappointed in that. The Reuben was better. It's getting a three-star because the patty melt was that bad.
