Been here many times. Food is always on point. Haven’t been in a while but father in law just moved south. So perfect meeting space. Unfortunately, our waitress is horrible. Grayish/charcoal short hair - Kimberly. Immediately, we let her know that the check would be split into two. She very snarky informed us that they just got a new system the day before and that it would take some time. We said, no worries! Then as my wife ordered her food, every time an item that had to be entered, the waitress went on to re explain that they had a new system with very agitated mannerisms. So after about 5 times of that, my father in law started ordering. She started her agitated mannerisms once again telling him upon every item to wait because it was a new system. I eventually interrupted and said, “excuse me, no offense, but I’m already having a morning and we came here to eat and relax, please stop projecting your agitation with you new system on us as we order.” For god sake write it down then go figure it out with your manager in the back. Don’t stand here and make us feel uncomfortable to order food that we are paying for just because you’re having a bad day. So, not only that, but then after my FIL ordered, she says directly to me, “can you hand me the menus.” To which I responded well you never even took my order.” And she goes, “oh I thought I did.” Yeah, well if you weren’t so agitated maybe you’d be paying more attention to your guests and whether they order a meal or not. I also explained we’d be working here for a little so I’d order in a little. My wife and FIL have now checked out and I’ve been sitting at the table for over an hour without one interaction from anyone for water, my empty coffee or for me to order. Complete poop show with this lady. Horrible service. For the record, every other person was happy and very accommodating. Multiple other workers stopped by our table as they were eating to greet our son and give him cool little toys. Fire this lady. Any hospitality service means I am here to spend money and you are here to be hospitable. Not complain to us about your new system. Tuna melt is good, but not good enough to deal with an attitude at 9:30 in the morning. It’s actually funny because I’m the big spender and tipper whereas my wife and her dad are very calculated tippers. At this point I’m just sitting in your booth for free, haven’t spent a penny, and working...

tldr; they cxld 2 customer orders(that were ready togo) bcs they have a problem with delivery driver calling them out on their nonsense

They DONT CARE about CUSTOMERS and only want your money. Here's how I can prove this. I arrived to pickup 2 delivery orders. It's busy, I don't mind waiting. I text the customers to let them know. - We (drivers) were asked to wait up front to clear the congestion. "We promise we'll call out the orders really LOUD!"

Cool, we go wait. One driver's order was called; I'm still waiting. No big deal, UNTIL.. I see several bags being placed on the shelf with no one calling any of those out. I wait and watch, it's several bags. So I walked back there to ask about it. - Yes, *some were a large order but 2of them were MY DELIVERY orders that were NOT called out. I have eyes, fine, I watched out for them and went to grab them.

As I'm receiving both orders, one of the workers was telling me to hit confirm. Especially after having unpaid drivers waiting and you NOT doing as you said you would - no, you don't get to micro-manage and tell me how to do my job. So I spoke up for myself and said, matter of factly but not rude, "I don't get to tell you how to do your job. You don't get to tell me how to do my job" And at that, one of the RUDE girls says, "OH NOOO, YOU AINT GETTN ANY ORDERS NOW!" So I said "Okay" and walked out - That's on THEM. I'm not going to stay and make a scene. I was there, waited, ready and able to take THEIR 2 CUSTOMERS deliveries but that nasty worker took it upon herself to refuse delivery. LOL, CRAZY

So I called delivery support, they talked to the restaurant (which I'm surprised they even answered the phone) and I was in the lot still willing to go grab the orders and support told me they STILL refuse to give me the deliveries.

The CUSTOMERS ended up paying the price! Their orders were CANCELED because the restaurant had a hissy fit and I still got paid.

Now you've got 2 upset customers that their orders were canceled just because you wanted to stickit to a driver.

VERY BAD...

To sum it all up, I was looking for my mama as I was eating, SO I COULD SLAP HER! That's how GREAT the food I ate here was!

My wife and I stopped here for Brunch after staying overnight in Tampa. I heard over the radio, from one of our Bay Area radio personalities, Mike Calta, that this place had some of the best pancakes! Let me go ahead and say, THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

My wife ordered an eggs Benedict dish that had fried green tomatoes on it. Her 1st words after her 1st bite were, "These fried green tomatoes are perfect!". I tried them, she wasn't lying! They had a perfect cornmeal crust on them, a nice subtle vinegar taste on the back end, and the tomatoes them selves, although fried, were oh so soft! They shined through all the yummy toppings that accompanied the Benedict! The hash browns were also great!

I ordered a tall stack of pancakes and country fried steak and eggs. The pancakes, OH MY GOD They had a PERFECT golden crust on the outside, with a soft, warm, and buttery chew. And they were plate sized pancakes! They actually cook what you want INSIDE THE BATTER! I had mine filled with nuts, blueberries, AND BACON! Hands down, some of THE BEST pancakes I've ever had! And the country fried steak was perfect! Seasoned to the God's and fried right! The gravy on top was chefs kiss!

Our server Taylor was very warm, kind, courteous, and very attentive. She greeted us soon as we were seated, continually checked on us, and got our food out in the blink of an eye. She was great! She told us the head chef, Mr. Otis, has been there for over 40 years! He's GOTTA be cooking with love, because I tasted it in EVERY BITE!

And the portions were huuugggeee, with a VERY AFFORDABLE price. As a certified foodie and super taster, with a hugged appetite AND a tight wallet, I FOUND MY NEW FAVORITE BRUNCH SPOT!!!
