Read moreEdit: 4/19/23 I just got my order and this is the SECOND TIME that they have failed to include the extra salad dressing that I was charged for. Not only that, they have gotten really cheap on the dressing lately overall. It used to be that you should get 2 little containers per salad but I had one and they forgot hubby's altogether last time. I wouldn't be so picky about it except that I was charged $6 for the extra sides of dressing ordered and I'm out of dressing at home. Note to restauranteurs - when someone orders a huge salad AND EXTRA DRESSING (not just asks for it but purchases it at an insane charge...) The whole meal tends to go out the window when it's not received. Other than that, still great wings and the salad itself is ok. It's been better. I'm also noticing a heavy hand of restraint on the portions themselves. I understand the need for limiting extra unnecessary food costs on their part, but for heavens sake throw in a little more iceberg and give me the illusion of the antipasto I once knew and struggle now to enjoy.
Slice of the Burg is one of the best places in the entire TRI city area to grab some REAL CHICKEN WINGS (I like mine naked w/blue cheese as pictured). They're lean, huge and always cooked just right. They do have great pizza but I'm having a low carb night. (They make it very easy to make your pizza night low carb. From their salads to wings and they even give the option now for a cauliflower crust pizza which is REALLY GOOD! ) Highly recommend the Antipasto Salad! I had one but it was so good I ate it before getting to snap a pic. (Guess I'll have to post next time. 🤔) Still, it was fresh, full of all the fixings and made to order. Gonna eat my wings now. ...
Read moreI think supporting a local businesses is so important so we decided to give this place a try a while back. The first couple of times we were really impressed with the food and wanted to take time to dine in for a change but unfortunately that was around the time that covid shut everything down so we decided maybe once everything reopened we would go in. My boyfriend was out of town for weeks doing relief work and I was going to see him and take him some food from back home. I was driving so he called in and placed the order for me. We weren't together so he didn't have my card number. He told the girl that took the order that I would be picking it up and paying by card when I got there. She got extremely rude with him saying they weren't supposed to do that so don't let it happen again. I'm not sure what difference it made since I would have the number when I got there. It really is no different than paying with cash (except she would have had to touch the cash had I been paying that way), you pay when you get there. When I arrived I called to let them know I was there and give them the card info over the phone. The girl was rude to me as well. It's a shame because the food is great but the service was definitely lacking. Maybe she was having a bad day but that doesn't justify it. That happened in May and we haven't been back since. If I'm supporting a business I shouldn't feel like I'm...
