I am extremely disappointed and shocked on how I was treated. I came into the store on 2/28/24 around 5pm and the credit card machine was down. This was not a big deal. I went to my car and decided I would order my smoothie online; however, I wanted to make sure that online ordering was functioning before I did. So, I went back in the store and asked the employee working if it was okay to order something online. The employee had ear pods in and complete ignored me. At first I didn't think it was a big deal and decided she possibly couldn't hear me so I asked again. Again ignored, however this time the employee clearly saw me. I finally asked one more time and again was ignored. The employee then took out headphones and asked rudely if she could help me. I told her I felt like she was being rude to me because I was clearly being ignored. And here's where things escalated.. The employee, who's stated she was the current manager, threatened to call the police on me and ordered me to leave the store. She then said she refused to serve me . I was shocked. I ask for her name and the name of the owner of this franchise and she refused to give me both her name or any other information. I have a video recording of some of what took place and the store number of the franchise and plan to follow up with corporate. I don't know if this was race related or if the employee was just having a bad day; regardless, what occurred was completely inexcusable. I known the store has video recordings in place and if their is any question as to what occurred I urge the owners to pull up the video recordings...
Read moreI order the same smoothie every time I go to a Smoothie King, so when there's an inconsistency in the flavor of the product I get regularly, I notice it. On 2 separate occasions I've order a Strawberry Peanut Power Plus with a shot of recharge. This smoothie has peanut butter in it, which is an extremely strong flavor. On two occasions I've been helped by a tall, skinny, younger employee and the smoothies tasted horrible. So today, I asked if there was another employee available and explained my reasoning. Another employee, female, came out of the back of the store and got an attitude with me. Then she got on the phone to call someone and complain about me while I was standing there. When I tried to explain my reasoning, she told me I should go to another Smoothie King. The lack of basic decency and customer service is appalling but that's what you get when you hire employees who don't care about customer service. I won't be going back to this store again, which will cost the store about $60/week in revenue. In the grand scheme of things, you might not care, but I will be telling everyone I know from now on to AVOID ANY...
Read moreI walked in 15 minutes before closing. The employee named "Ryan" says, "Sorry but I'm closing early tonight" I said really? What time do you guys normally close? "9, but I'm closing early tonight". I politely said, ok and went to walk away. He then proceeds to walk to the back room. I then stop and ask if I can have contact information to a manager, he then looks around for a business card in which of course was not there and said "sorry we do not have any, but if you would like a smoothie I can make one for you real quick" retracting what he said about closing because he knew he made an error in judgment telling a customer he is closing the store early. I passed up on the opportunity to get his services and left the store. The bad part about all of this, I tried calling in today and you can't even speak to the supervisor or anyone there for these things to be corrected. It is completely baffling. A google review is the only way to leave feedback? This was the cherry on top with this location. There have been plenty more unprofessional experiences here but not...
