The current manager here , Jayson (I believe his name badge said Jayson) , is unfriendly , does not listen to repeat customers complaints about his rude and hostile staff. He grabbed a knife when I asked him for corporates number since he was uninterested in my complaint , & stuck his chest in my face instead of just saying his name or showing his name tag when I asked for his name. There is an African American girl here who has a long name beginning with a “K” who screams at customers that her line is open. She is mean and nobody wants to go thru her line because of her anger and hostility. I asked the manager Jayson is it protocol to be rude to kids that ask for help and why does the staff take breaks on the floor but get irritated when approached my customers for assistance , Jayson snapped back and said “They can take breaks wherever they want!” current manager at this store , Jayson, is not friendly, never smiles or offers assistance. Avoid this Wawas & their aggressive staff. I usually shop here twice a day and will take the trip to Wawas on 66th st n to avoid a knife wielding manager and a ghetto cashier. Side note * The older white lady I believe her name is Michele and she’s a cashier is an ANGEL 10/10 customer service ALWAYS so sweet ....

I placed an online order and paid for it inside the store only to find out the “kitchen area” was closed due to dusting. I was told by the manager on duty I was unable to get a refund right then and there and would have to call corporate due to the receipt not having some sort of barcode needed to reverse the transaction. Who wants to go through that at 1:00 in the morning?
To make a long story short another employee by the name of JOSIE stated they should be up and running in about 30 minutes and would give me a call to let me know when they are making my order.
Josie called me about 20mins later and reassured me the kitchen was open again and they were preparing my food.
When I Came back into the store Antonio had my order ready for me with a $10 Gift card for the inconvenience!
I highly appreciate the kindness and great customer Service from both associates.

Read moreI love Wawa’s so much and they are usually fantastic in service and their food, and someone who works late hours I’m always thankful they are open for decent food, and I’m sad I have tried to spend money at this Wawa and never end up with what I pay for. To go and delivery orders are always wrong and feels like they do it on purpose. My last two times ordering food I ordered a Turkey panini and they put no Turkey on it even though I paid for a sandwich with meat on it, money wasted. Next time I tried ordering subs for me and my boyfriend and they switched the meats and toppings and made us the wrong sandwiches even though they were ordered right. Always seems to be the same employees, re-evaluate your evening/night staff at this location. Sad to give a Wawa...
