Racist Ray. I went here on new years eve 12:25 pm doors were locked people inside eating line for drive thru around the corner. No big deal they are just trying to get the crowd out early. I get in line at the drive thru no sign in the window saying closed. Three people come to the door and knock. Racist Ray comes and let's them in but pretended he didn't see me when I pulled the door. Could not help but notice as I was waiting in line for 30 minutes that the white people or kids got turned away and Ray let darker skinned people in. This was set in stone when the person infront of me ( brazilian) got served food but when I came to the window they ignored me, put the closed sign in the window. I tapped on the glass. The girl or boy said ( I can not hear you) and walked away. I tapped again. It said if you do that again I am calling the police I said Ok. Then Racist Ray comes to the window and says sorry we have no more bagels for you. I said just for me but when your friends come to the door you let them in while I sit out in the cold. Sounds like you chose to give them my bagels . I said that is discrimination. He says no. RACIST. and the little girl or boy that was working the window pretending not to hear me and walking away super rude. Treat people as you would want to be treated little boy with long blond hair and head band or girl. I should have got its name but it was super rude. Never again. I'm telling everyone I know how they discriminate against white people i would never think to do that. I have kids and this is not something i want them to learn. I make sure if my daughter says" that girl with the brown skin" I correct her and say "we dont point out color find another way to describe her besides her skin...
Read moreI recently visited this bagel shop for the first time and was greeted with the sight of fresh kettle steam near the register—definitely a promising start! The sesame bagel I tried was excellent, with a great balance of flavor and a delightful crust, though a bit more crunch could take it to the next level.
However, the efficiency of the process could be greatly improved. During my visit, the line stretched to the back door and moved slowly, largely due to some operational inefficiencies. The staff seemed to enjoy working together, which is great for morale, but they could benefit from streamlining their workflow. The current process involves a lot of waiting for shared tools and areas, like the microwave or sandwich station, and slicing bagels by hand further contributes to delays.
By applying Lean Six Sigma principles, this shop could see significant improvements in customer experience. For instance, better organization of the workspace and clearer task assignments could prevent the bottlenecks and reduce unnecessary movement. Even small changes, like automating bagel slicing, could speed things up dramatically. Reducing these inefficiencies would allow the team to serve more customers quickly without compromising on the high-quality product they offer.
With just a few tweaks to the workflow, this place could be a well-oiled machine. I’m confident they’ll be able to take these steps, and I’ll definitely be back to enjoy their...
Read morei would have given 5 stars because i love their bagels but i am NOT happy with their customer service. i have been buying a dozen of bagels at a time and 3 tubs of cream cheese in early morning around 5:15am. 1st and 2nd time, i asked the server politely if she can slice the dozen of bagels for me as I am taking it to my colleagues at work - she agreed and sliced them. but the 3rd time i asked, i was told that they dont slice bagels if i don't call ahead. i still brought them anyways. the 4th time i came back and again forgot to call ahead but this time ordered drive thru and was hoping a positive outcome. i could have left the drive thru without buying the bagels but i didnt do that because im not rude. instead, i still paid and bought the dozen of WHOLE BAGELS and left the place very dissappointed. very bad customer service. i dont know what the big deal of slicing the bagels in half when the store at that time (5:15am - 5:30am) is just opened and not very busy, not a lot of customers that time when I came. i could consider if they were really swamped with orders, take outs, with a lot of customers.... but this was not the case. i was the 1st in the drive thru at that time. im not going there anymore. sorry. i don't recommend this to anyone who wants GOOD...
