Welcome to @The Coach House 🏨✨ The Coach House is a stunning property with a rich eclectic history, modern decor, and is the perfect balance of old and new. Salem is home to a plethora of architecturally stunning buildings and this hotel is no different! We loved the interior design, the cozy atmosphere throughout the levels of the inn, the no-contact check in, the “witch you were here” photo wall, the luxury linens, modern room amenities, and overall comfort of an elegant and upscale experience. The Coach House offers 11 rooms, has free parking in the back as well as the side streets and is in proximity to downtown Salem. You simply can’t go wrong with this property! 🏨 Book your stay using my personal hotel booking link through my links which gives you access to the best rates and VIP treatment at select partner hotels. ✔️Save this for your trip to Salem! #salemmassachusetts #salemmass #salemma

✨ The Nocturne crew spent a magical night at The Coach House Salem — a stunning boutique hotel built in 1879 and brimming with ghostly charm 👻. We were treated to a séance slumber party in the haunted Queen’s Suite by the incredible @The Coach House team — thank you, @natashajaderusilko + Marley! As always, we brought the gothic glamour, a dash of chaos, and spoke to spirits with a Salem-themed Ouija board (huge thanks to our friends at @salem with board museum 🖤) Highlights of the night:
🌙 A tour of the haunted halls
🖤 A beautiful connection between @GlamourPossum and her beloved grandpa during the séance
🍙 Delicious onigiri from @Annie’s Asian Mart
🧀 Charcuterie magic from @Boards for Days
🎬 A cozy midnight screening of our forever fave, Practical Magic Every moment—from the mischief in the gorgeous foyer to the spirit encounters—was unforgettable. 💫 If you’re visiting Salem, The Coach House is THE spot for a beautiful, off-the-beaten-path boutique experience! 👉 Have you stayed at @coachhousesalem? 🚨EDIT Changing to a 1 star review after the owners reply:

Who was I to present them to? They also occurred at different times of my entire stay, I wasn’t going to keep calling or texting for help.

Yes, you did call me multiple times to get ahold of me for check in on the 27th specifically at 7:28 in the morning (I have all the call log proof too) I didn’t answer because I was sleeping, my deepest apologies after working 48 hours in an operating room.

I booked through my credit card company, that is correct. Which had a promotion on your “hotel”. I’m sorry it was a lot of “diligent work” for your staff to place a single vase of flowers in my room.

My room was 69 degrees according to the thermostat and it was a ripe 52 degrees while I was in Salem not to mention the temperature drop during the night. It’s October in New England, who are you trying to convince?

I would like to make it crystal clear that I was in fact told by an officer (there were 3 in total) to please wait downstairs while they were arresting a man. Their words, not mine. Whether they arrested him or not clearly wasn’t my business. I also have video proof of that taking place at your facility. Either way, inappropriate to try and downplay what occurred when it’s the truth and I have pictures of it.

🚨Previous reply I want to give this place 3.5 star review

First and foremost the rooms, entry ways, hallways are all decorated beautifully and well kept.

I was not initially aware that this place did not have staff on site (my bad for not researching enough) so this was different. I knew I was arriving before check in, so I did call and ask if it would be okay to utilize the parking and they were very nice and said yes and also offered to keep our bags if needed while waiting for check in - however when I first arrived (4 hour drive from home) there was 0 way for me to enter the property as you need a code and do not get the code until you are allowed to check in so that was kind of a bummer. It would have been nice to use a restroom and drop the bags off like offered, but no such luck.

This room was almost $1200 for 1 night in a queen bed. VERY OVERPRICED. I stayed 10/27 so prime Halloween time (Sunday so everything was closed by 9) but $1200 for 1 night in a queen room is absolutely ridiculous and just taking advantage of people. Especially when the facility is essentially a self serve facility.

The room was nice but cold, the thermostat had VERY strict instructions to not touch or adjust the heat pump off ac and not allowed to turn it onto heat. I was confused by that and didn’t want to mess with it so I called the on call number and they told me to adjust it to heat, when I read the instructions to them, they said never mind, use the space heater in the closet. I just felt that was very “un” $1200 room of them. The building is old and cold. Using a space heater felt very $120 night stay. Crusty options honestly.

My room was located on the 3rd floor, carrying our belongings and bags up there was very annoying as there were 4? I believe flights of stairs. Not to mention the front door slams SO loudly it will even shake and make noise in your room even on the 3rd floor.

The place is a 25 minute walk to all Salem attractions, so you’ll either walk in the cold long distances, have to drive into town and pay $30+ for parking, or pay for Ubers every trip.

When I had gotten back to the property Sunday night late there was a gentleman across the room from ours being arrested and I was asked by the police to give them some space so I had to sit on the stairs and wait for them to finish their investigation before I could go into my room

Then next morning I was packing my car and the housekeeper kept asking me what room even though I had told her I was not finished with the room yet. And I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful photo opportunity they created on the 2nd floor but couldn’t because housekeeping had all their belongings all over the floor and bench so there wasn’t anywhere to take the picture with the backdrop...

The Coach House Hello lovelies I wanted to share this gem Cory and I discovered on our mass adventure💚 a 5 min drive from Salem commons and I’m just blown away! Firstly it’s a contact free boutique wich means no humans and that’s awesome.. you get assigned a personal concierge who contacts you via text with all your information that you need for your stay.. of course I’m not tec savvy any my person Marley was amazing at holding my hand 😂😂 plus her response time was almost instant she was so attentive and made it apparent she was there for us! Upon arrival was super easy to find and park but walking in simply took my breath away! This place is a field day of photo ops the walls are loaded with art music and just cool little treasures! I felt like I stepped into my dream home.. ok I’m a weirdo and I don’t know about you but I NEVER walk bare foot in a hotel.. this place was rediculiouly clean (I even noticed the cleaning lady the next day mixing vinigar water to clean) we love that!! With everything so black and white my super sencorie powers notice everything.. the amazing wood floors sparkled not a spot of dust not even on the stairs where the black banisters meet the white step lol I was walking around without my shoes on with no thought at all (this is a big deal to me) the bed and pillows … dude the bed .. there’s nothing worst then missing your bed when your on vaca but this bed was amazing firm and soft at the same time and the pillows were a lush cool cloud! All the bedding was white and soft and you could tell freshly washed and made! The design and flow of the room was perfect we could have totally made or one room stay accommodate a week.. their clever ways of incorporating extra furniture without clutter was well thought out! We had a romantic fireplace filled with candles a smart tv that wasn’t to smart for me!!! And please people real coffee… real coffee and a real coffee maker wich of course we texted for more and she was on it! But after a long day of walking Salem in Aug we were both hot and tired and just wanted a shower and how cute was this dang bathroom! There wasn’t even a spot of anything on the tile grout people this place was spotless!! Their toiletries are from C.O. Bigelow apothecaries based out of NYC .. and yes I used the shampoo and conditioner and it was Devine and gentile but the body lotion was some serious body butter they should sell some on location! They use real toilet paper and even fancy q tips theis are big deals to us who don’t get away enough! We had an amazing night being lazy in the AC enjoying door dash! Of course I played creeper and wandered around this whole beautiful home checking everything out they even had tove lo playing softly in the hall ways… for bed they had everything you could need.. a fan a heater even a sound machine! And of course lush bathrobes! We went for a night walk around the block and it was just a dream on the brick wonky sidewalks and Hydrangeas in full bloom! Needless to say I slept like the dead all night! We were greated by an adorable assortment of fresh cold fruit and pastries and more coffee! I can’t believe the price point for what you get! I kinda don’t wanna share this to keep them for myself!! Needless to say we will not be staying anywhere else on our trips to Salem the Coach House stole our hearts and the cherry on the top is supporting...

My husband and I live in Vermont and we wanted to visit Salem, so we booked a room at the Coach House Inn. We planned on bringing our 4 month old daughter with us. We booked a room for two people, since there would only be two of us sleeping in a bed. After driving 5 hours, we showed up to the Coach House Inn with our daughter and the woman stated that we could not stay because we had a third person with us and we booked the room for two people. My husband and I told her that we had a portable crib for our daughter and she still refused to let us stay. We offered to pay more for another room and she still refused. She then began to tell us that she does not accomodate for babies and that no bed and breakfasts accomodate for children at all. It states no where on her site that children are not aloud. She told my husband that she would be keeping our money unless someone stayed in our room that night. No one stayed in the room, so we got charged $170 for a room we were not aloud to stay in because we had a baby with us. My mother tried calling this woman to reason with her while my husband and I drove around looking for a place to stay. The woman argued with my mother and told her that she wasn't going to "speculate" with her about whether she told us to leave because we had a baby or not. We ended up having to book a room in a hotel outside of Salem. A couple days later, my friend called her posing to be a customer and asked if she could stay that weekend, but when the woman asked my friend how many people and she said herself and a baby, the woman said no. My friend asked her when the next weekend available would be and the woman put her on hold and never came back...
