Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Salem

Went to my favorite Carl's Junior got a California classic hamburger and it was cold went back knocked on the door. Manager got me another hamburger I took four steps to my car as he was fixing another order that was wrong next to me opened it up and it too was cold I walked over to him and let him know hey I don't want another hamburger but this one is also cold ask him if he would check the temperature of the burgers so that nobody else in line would get sick if they ate a cold Burger at which time he informed me it was too cold tomatoes that made the hamburger cold he obviously was getting upset could have been having a bad day I don't know as he was going back towards the door he walked back in the door I did not want to take the cold hamburger with me and being as how there was no garbage cans around me I said it at the foot of the front door going in I was walking back to my car when he came back to the door saying that I was being childish I walked back over to the door pick the hamburger up and informed him that I wasn't taking this garbage hamburger with me there's no garbage cans to throw it away and he told me there was a garbage can around the door in the back of the building I could go throw it in the dumpster several times with a discussion with his manager I asked him to please calm down let's take this down a notch wasn't asking him for anything else I was just concerned about the meat being cold at which point I asked him for corporate phone number I was out by my car he was at the front by the front door he told me come back and a threatening manner like he wanted to do harm to me. So I asked him for his name which you would not give me and he was not wearing a name tag so even if I called corporate I wouldn't know whose name to tell him I was talking or dealing with so he told me to leave or he's going to call the cops I said that's fine where can I throw this hamburger away in at that point he told me to set it on the shelf of the door which he picked up and then threw away long story short if I want to eat at Carl's jr. Which I would have always rated A 5 up to this point I will drive across town and eat at the other Carl's Junior where I can get a warm hamburger at least enough to slightly melted cheese ain't Askin for much to the manager that works at this Carl's Junior I'm sorry if asking for a warm hamburger upset you but if it upset you I've never been treated like that for a $2.49 hamburger PS went...

Went through drive through. Ordered jalpeno double combo. Upgraded to onion rings. They charged me for the el Diablo $15 and some change. When they asked what I ordered after paying they wanted to give me a refund. I said its fine I'll just take the el Diablo they charged me for. They didn't want to give me that cause they already made the double. Didn't Want to sit and argue so I just Saud fine. Didn't refund back to my card. Just gave me $9 and some change in cash. And was told they would then charge my card for the correct order. Confused I asked for our Receipts but then they said they couldn't give us our receipts cause they needed it for their system. Still confused on why they can print out copies or give us them with our order?? They told us the card would not be charged again. Frustrated we just took the food and left. Bit into the burger. And they gave me Angus steak meat. Not good. Also the sauce on the burger tasted off and fishy. Basically unedible. Tried give the benefit of the doubt that maybe I'm insain and the burger is fine but then the sauce spilled into my mouth with a foul fishy taste. Over all pretty disappointed an confused. My friend Brant took me almost at gunpoint to Carl's Junior. I was a McDonald's fan since they first opened up a store in Oregon. I have not been back to McDonald's since I now go to Carl's Junior. I ordered two famous cheeseburgers with extra lettuce and extra onions that was actually put on my burgers. Unlike other places I've been. The meat was far superior to that of my old place and the taste was also outstanding. I love their chocolate shakes and their French fries! Their staff treat you like you are a family member from the time you walk in till the time you leave. 9 out of 11 times I got Special Sauce on my Big Mac when I told them I do not want Special Sauce and that made it so easy for me to go try Carl's jr. I can't even begin to tell you! what's amazing is there tomatoes are red and not yellow and orange. if you're tired of the long lines and want to spend an extra couple of few nickels I would go to Carl's Junior and not be a stubborn person like me and wait until you're 63 to figure it out.
