My friend and I went in and yes it was a Saturday night they were busy and we had to wait maybe about a minute or two for them to clear off at a booth for us but we just felt like they were rushing around and I ordered a chicken chimichanga meal and my friend ordered a shrimp chimichanga meal and asked for no lettuce and her sauce on the side that usually comes on them her meal came out with no lettuce and the sauce was not on the side it was on them and then he brought out a little bowl of sauce that look like tomato sauce that you use on spaghetti and just kind of set it down and rushed off I wanted to ask for something and I couldn’t I was almost done with my dinner when I got it in the beans were just lukewarm and not even even hot they were lukewarm and very runny usually when I get this meal here or anywhere else I get it with the lettuce and the tomato and the sour cream and cheese served on the side this time I got it all on one plate the cheese was melted on the side of the plate the lettuce was warm I asked for some ranch dressing so I could eat my lettuce and sour cream and cheese as a salad and had to wait until towards the end of my meal they just seem unorganized and we felt kind of rushed my friends meal had no flavor to it she said the shrimp had no seasoning and that was all that was in her chimichangas with mine had a little bit of seasoning and flavoring to it but it just tasted like chicken to me and like I said I’ve had this meal here and other places and I was very disappointed with this visit and my meal because of the fact that our server only did maybe to check fax but honestly due to the fact that they were busy even though they should’ve been on top of their game I didn’t say anything because I work at a restaurant and I know that everybody can have a off Night but if you’re busy don’t act like you’re rushed by guests coming in that’s what keeps your business open and that’s what kind of I felt like with this visit honestly I know they were busy and it was crowded because of it being a Saturday night like I said but honestly I don’t know if I will be back I’ll wait there if I have to but I’m not sure if I’ll go back if I’m in that area and want to get something different and I know they’re trying to do their best daily and they’re trying to change whatever they need to and this is just my...
Read moreTo start, we do not live in Salem. Stopped by to grab a quick bite before heading home. I truly regret our choice. After an hour on the road i had what can only be described as a tornado wearing cleats destroying my insides. The restaurant its self needs a face lift. The restroom, ( womens), was so vile i actually threw up what i had just eaten. The urine smell hits you as soon as you start walking down the dark hallway. I do have to say the commode itself was clean. On the way back down the dark hallway i noticed the door to the back kitchen ajar. I don't know why i looked i wish i hadnt. It was the stuff food nightmares are made from. The food. So the chips were stale, and the salsa must have been from a jar. ( in my opinion). The steak fajita was as dry as old shoe leather and what little veggies were there must have been reheated. No juice, seasoning or sauce any where to be found. I will give the guacamole on my salad two thumbs up. The rice, ohhhh lets just pass over that. The queso was also good. The waiter was a lovely person. Thumbs up to them. The one star is for the...
Read moreJalisco's, every visit there has been a great dinning experience. I've been there so many times and I honestly cannot remember ever having an issue with the food or service. They're super fast, whether its dine-in or carry out. The menu is filled with so many delicious mexican food options. There is so much to choose from! For the smaller appetite, they offer "a la carte" options. Otherwise, the meals are of generous size. Some meals even big enough to feed two people! All for a surprisingly affordable price. I can't say I've ever ordered anything that I did not like. All the food (even desserts) have been delicious. Along with really good food, they also offer a wonderful bar. Of course their margaritas are amazing (at a very reasonable cost). To sum it up, it is a great place to dine with friends/family or socialize while in the Salem area. It also provides an amazing atmosphere (beautiful mexican decor, art work, wooden chair engraving) to compliment your dinning experience. A special place that is sure to leave you...
