We have discerning palates when it comes to having great food. We came all the way from Eugene to try The Manila Fiesta, a Filipino restaurant. They served flavorful, delicious and authentic Filipino cuisine! This is locally and family owned, located in Salem.

This place is super clean and we were greeted immediately as we entered. Marissa, the owner, was incredibly friendly and sweet. And her son, who cooked and brought our food , walked up with a smile and was also friendly. He even told us the food we ordered are the most popular items on their menu. We could tell the food was freshly made and from the heart! It was served piping hot!!! And oh my, talk about large portions!!!! YUM!!!

Both of them treated us like they've known us for awhile. It was our first time there. Marissa shared a little bit of her family history, which was nice to hear. She and her family came from humble beginnings and it showed her down to earth personality!

Marissa recommended the Bicol Express... Wow! It's a little sweetness and heat! Soooo good!!! And the pork was tender. The BBQ Combo Special was also super delish as well. Tender, juicy, flavorful!!! Both of them checked on us 2-3x to make sure we were happy with the food.

The Manila Fiesta was definitely worth the trip!!! I've been looking for excellent, amazing, Filipino food. We've tried others and they were neh! Therefore, when it comes to authentic Filipino cuisine, this place is by far THE best I've had in all of Oregon! We will most likely come...

Manila Fiesta is some of the best food I've had between Portland and Eugene. The restaurant is run by a mom (Marissa) and her son (Dennis). I came with some friends and we ordered a couple plates to share: the bbq pork skewers, bicol express, pork belly, and turon. The pancit was probably one of the biggest surprises to me; it looks like rage equivalent of plain chow mein but it is so flavorful! The bbq pork and pork belly were also really good, but the Bicol express was probably my favorite dish. So creamy from the coconut and just small hints of spice.

One of favorite thing about this spot is how friendly Marissa and Dennis are. Marissa came and talked with my friends and I, telling us about her kids, describing how she preps the ingredients, and explaining how she puts love and care into each dish. She told us she wants customers to come in and feel like their mom is cooking a meal for them, and that’s exactly how it felt.

I highly recommend getting food from here earlier in the day. We came at around 6pm and they were sold out of a couple items. Be aware that they prep most, if not everything, as you order. They also cook everything as you order, so waiting for food may take a while. Trust me, it’s worth the wait. But if you can’t wait, they accept phone orders so you can place an order before heading there!

If you’re ever in Salem or passing through Salem, I highly recommend checking Manila Fiesta out! Great food, great service, and feels...

Stopped by after my son's Taekwondo tournament. My son is half Filipino and has been wanting to try Filipino cuisine in America but where we are from in Washington there aren't many Filipino run businesses. As soon as I seen this on the maps I didn't hesitate to drop in! The restaurant is very clean and the man that took our orders was polite. He let us know before we ordered that they were out of 2 meals from the menu but that was okay. We waited about 10-15min for our food, not bad at all (We ordered 4 meals)! The food was colorful, neatly presented and smelled delicious! I don't usually get too excited trying out new restaurants but my feet was doing the tappy dance with every bite I took 😂 My friends father, who's a military veteran that's traveled to many countries, was absolutely impressed with the flavor of the food, he left no crumbs! Halfway into eating, an elderly women whom I was sure is the chef came out to ask us how our food was. Again, I didn't hesitate to blurt out how delicious it was, my 9 year old daughter said "I wish I could eat here everyday!" The chef was so overjoyed to hear that she asked my daughter for a hug 🥰 Like, what a great experience!! If we ever come back to this part of Salem, I will absolutely, hands down stop by again! Great food and good...
