I am so disappointed. I’ve been here a few times and loved it, including twice this past week. This will sound random at first, but you'd have to read through to understand the massive issue here; boy what a small world. So there are some people who moved onto my street fairly recently and have been extremely disrespectful to the entire neighborhood, being intentionally obnoxious, and we’ve just tried to ignore it. This weekend the couple living there got home drunk in the middle. Of the day in Saturday and got into a screaming match with 2 seperate neighbors a couple houses over, before they even pulled into their driveway, as their grey mustang sat in the middle Of the street, and of course half the block came out and walked over to see all the commotion. I could hear them slurring badly and the girl kept stumbling. This was the first time I’d actually seen their faces, and I could not believe the woman was the bartender who was on shift for one of my visits! I heard my neighbors call her letti when they were arguing so I think that's her name. The reason this is valid, we all talk on this street and pay attention, and both the man and woman (letti) drive drunk frequently, and I've seen guests from their house get into vehicles just trashed and drive off. This morning, I watched her son and his friends key my neighbors pickup truck. I let her know, they moved their truck into their yard and said to let it go because the poor kid has no guidance. If it was me I would press charges. It's scary. I feel bad for this buisiness because she seemed to do good at work and seemed sweet (it’s been slow when I go so maybe that’s a factor), and it’s clean with great ambience, a lot of potential. but I cannot support a business who has a bartender that regularly drives drunk, or has her boyfriend drive drunk, endangering lives, allowing her son to damage neighbors property. I hope she gets a dui and looses her olcc permit because a belligerent irresponsible alcoholic has NO business serving drinks, no matter how professional they behave at work. This girl is bad for buisiness. What a shame. Can’t believe this...
Read moreAs a displaced Southerner, I approach BBQ in the PNW with caution. Two bites into the pork belly and I was instantly a ten-year-old again eating the food my father and uncles worked for days to prepare. The Vault is what happens when Down Home Comfort Food meets haute cuisine - homemade, fresh, extremely generous portions of authentic, perfectly prepared fare. The BBQ is phenomenal and the sides are delicious as well. Corn was still snappy, the fries were hot even delivered, and the tacos are phenomenally flavorful without being loaded down with spice. Try the jalapeno poppers which are obviously hand made! The burgers are juicy and freshly-made to grilling perfection, and the Alabama white sauce will knock your socks off. The prices are ridiculously low, as I would happily pay twice the asking for the generous portions and extremely high quality of ingredients ... not to mention the obvious love, skill, and pride that go into the food. Bonus: no Styrofoam containers here, but reusable aluminum pans that just need a quick wash packed skillfully to avoid using too much container. And where else can you play cribbage while enjoying your food and superbly...
