Upon arrival we ordered our food, the young gentleman behind the counter was cordial and professional. There was a lot of comoradery, laughing and chatting between the employees which is nice to see when it doesn't interfere with your work . Here's where our experience took a turn. In looking for a place to sit, my wife and I noticed all tables available were dirty. We ended up cleaning a table to eat our food. At the moment, this did not bother us as we figured they may have had a rush and hadn't gotten the opportunity to clean tables. As we sat to eat our meal there were no customers to be waited on. The employees spent a lot of time laughing and conversing amongst themselves. As we were eating, 2 employees came out with a spray bottle and rags, we assumed they were going to clean tables. No, they started to wipe down the glass door to enter the restaurant. We thought it odd that they wouldn't clean tables especially if for some reason they got slammed. A customer showed up at the counter and stood there for several minutes waiting. My wife finally hand signaled the window cleaners to go help the customer. As the other employee continues to wipe the window down I approached her and said there were dirty tables that probably needed her attention just in case they got a rush it would be in the best interest of their customers since we had to clean our own table. She thanked me but then walked over to what we later found out was the manager. She had a few words with the manager, some laughing and they went right back to window cleaning in spite of the recommendation to be helpful to their customers. As we left I told them they should be ashamed with their customer service skills and the older lady, presumably the manager said you don't need to worry about it. Shocking that cleaning a glass door was more important than keeping the area clean for customers to eat. Priority to customers is NOT apart of this Arbys restaurant. The food was...
Read moreI am reluctant to post negative reviews, however, when experiences are sufficiently disappointing, I feel a responsibility to share my perspective with others, and therefore, I believe it is necessary to share my experience today.
I placed an order for two regular roast beef combo meals. It was 3:30pm and things were pretty slow. After completing my order, I proceeded to fill my drink cups, at which point I noticed that lids of the appropriate size were unavailable. I promptly returned to the counter and informed the staff of the shortage, and they advised me that they were out of lids and that I would need to utilize a shake lid, which features a large hole at the top.
After a considerable wait, during which my sandwiches sat for an extended period, I finally received my order. Unfortunately, the fries provided were clearly stale. I returned to the counter, showed them the fries, and was instructed to discard them and await freshly cooked ones. I closely monitored the preparation process to ensure I received fresh fries. However, the fries I received were re-cooked old fries, resulting in shriveled, greasy, and overcooked fries. Having already waited for an excessive amount of time, I decided not to raise the issue further, as I had already spent too much time at the establishment.
I sampled a couple of fries and determined that they were not palatable, so I discarded them and turned my attention to my sandwich. The sandwich was cold, which raised concerns about the safety of the product. The meat was bland yet salty and had a watered-down flavor, suggestive of being steamed for an extended period.
They did not provide me with a receipt, which prevented me from completing a survey on their website. Needless to say, my experience fell significantly short of my expectations, and I do not plan to return, given that this was my third consecutive...
Read moreGrease tasted old. Chicken tenders were textured like bicycle tires. They may have been sitting under the heat lamp a few hours. Jalapeno poppers were good. Fries, old grease taste came shining through. Service was good. Knowledgeable cashier, friendly. Arby's has never been my first choice, but at a truck stop near Salina, UT where there are few other options close by, I sucked it up and made another bad life decision that will probably stick with me for a while. Meaning, I'm psychologically scarred from eating fast food for a good long while. Restaurants changing to this new-fangled oil for fry grease, compared to the awesome frying oils of the 80s and 90s, have turned their backs on quality with a false belief that they're 'caring' for our health. This is furthest from what's actually happening in America. Don't hate me for sharing my thoughts. I know my 1st amendment rights. For those of you loyal to Arby's, I'm sorry about your upbringing. Please consider...
