OMG, the Chile Verde Burrito!!! Huge Flaky tortilla filled with big juicy chunks of pork and rich chili verde sauce. The shredded beef rolled tacos are delicious and seasoned perfectly. This is not fast food. It's made slowly with love. It's hard to find because there's the old pizza sign out front, and the building is set back a bit, but it sooo worth stopping if you're jumping off I70.

Legit family taqueria. So worth getting off I-70. A+ salsa. I lost my room key (In my room, duh,) so my food sat a bit. Regardless, such a reward for figuring that out. Playa Azul plate was great! Those beans & rice are made, not opened. I weight the sides heavily, and these were tops. Same with the salsa. I didn’t ask, it’s evident.

Friendly service, freshly made and worth the wait. Camping in Utah, from California and stopping through for gas on the way to Moab. Got the adobo chicken bowl, very tasty and they have 5 salsas to choose from (mild to super hot). Small unassuming place with limited seating, but so glad that we stopped in and gave it a try!

I don't understand why this place has such high ratings. Food had no taste. We tried the street tacos, the fajita and the Playa Azul burrito. They were all almost inedible. The tacos were SO dry and even the Adobada had zero flavor! All the street tacos were dry. The fajita's vegetables were couple sliced peppers that weren't cooked with beef-pieces that were almost only fat. Worst of all is the Playa Azul burrito, to describe it I would say it tastes like a two day old McDonald cheeseburger. The burrito is made with frozen fried seafood smothered in disgusting fry sauce mixed with packaged lettuce and tomatoes with no taste. I was so disappointed to go to a taco shop with that high of a rating and to be served awful food. On top of that the service was pretty terrible, the lady at the counter was not courteous at all, it seemed like we were bothering her. It seemed like all the employees were just over-it, over with what they were doing and not even appreciating making the food... maybe that's why it tasted so bad... no more joy in cooking good fresh food. We dined-in but would not recommend, there's four small uncomfortable tables with fans giving all they got but making a huge noise. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. High expectations versus sad reality. Maybe it tastes good for people who never ate Mexican...

We drove past it twice figured why not try it. Omg, the food was bomb bomb. We big people and like to eat. We were stuffed. He ordered carne asada fries and I carne asada chips. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Guacamole was perfect. Very generous portions. 4 different salsas to choose from. Had Mexican sodas. I got horchata and he got mango. The service was on point and loved the family dynamic running the place. We ventured on. We came back through grabbed a couple burritos to take home for dinner. We got adovada and carnitas. Delish! We will make it a point to go back for sure. Prices are excellent too. Huge burrito less than $7. Only gripe, need more tables with...

The food here is fresh and tasty! The staff is great. The menu is large. And the price is good for what you get. The street tacos (all varieties) are top notch. The place is small with ample parking for the area. There are about 5 tables inside for dining or you can take it to go. Ordering is done at the counter similar to most fast food places. Jo drive through here. Food is made to order so expect a short wait. Call and order before arrival to ensure little to no wait time. I have tried several menu items and have not been disappointed. The smothered burrito is large and makes 2 meals unless you’re really hungry. Stop in and give it a try. You won’t be...
