Cantonese Express Food — Restaurant in Salinas

I love this place. It's fast and inexpensive and tasty. I've been coming here for years. My children liked it when they were little and continue to enjoy the food as adults with their own kids. I can call ahead and place my order so when I drive across town its ready to go as soon as I walk in. My food is always hot and tastes great. I'll continue to eat here as long as they are open. Please don't close cuz its so hard to have a great place you love to eat, places come and go. Cantonese Express has been open for as long as I can remember and I've never had a meal I didn't like. AND the owners are really nice and always smiling and take time to say hello and converse with you and others as they take your order and get it ready for you to enjoy. Great place to go for lunch. Quick, simple, good food. The price is right for being an express restaurant. Menu selection is nice. The lunch and dinner plates are LARGE portions. A lot of bang for your buck. 2 plates can easily feed my family of four. Their individual to-go cartons are are also stuffed filled. How ever you get it, the portions are great, the food is good and the prices are good. It's very economical for your larger families. First time back in a long time. My mom used to go here in the 70's. Since I wasn't sure what to get, I ordered the dinner for 3.
