I have been going to crab bucket since they open... the very first server was excellent such a loss for the owner and the food was great then the rice etc., BUT the rice has gotten worse and most specially the SERVERS! No greet no smile. We always order the same thing...my son treated me there for a belated Mother’s Day still recovering from a cervical surgery. We sat there waiting for my son and after 15 minutes servers back n forth they didn’t think to ask if we wanted something to drink... “ no interest in “up your sales” ? I had to tell the server to take our drink order. Finally ready to order: all the while the people that came way after us gets their food first, ours come finally all errors : 1). corn of a cob was in our bag which was ordered by another from our table 2). mussels were not the GREEN MUSSELS (which we ordered) 3). the “garlic pasta” was made with teriyaki topped with garlic, n sweet???? Garlic pasta is white sauce. Had to reorder 4) while our server was overwhelmed the other servers “ gossiping” because “ I am unhappy with my order” n had waited long enough NOW all the servers are “ having a POW WOW” meeting about having to cook the right mussels. Some people may not be able to tell the difference between MUSSELS N GREEN MUSSELS but THERE ARE LIKE ME that knows the difference. Where is the MGR...or someone that can teach the servers to SMILE n that when there’s a problem “ they don’t act like SMART ASSES” because at the end of the day US who SPEND our hardworking money IS WHY THEY HAVE A JOB. I told the server you must not LIKE YOUR JOB and little smart ass says yes I love my job... REALLY??? It seems that her ass was hurting that it SHOWS ALL OVER HER FACE. We were there from 730-915 N NOT 1 time did she smile. Good luck with ALL THE CUSTOMER REVIEWS you would think the servers they hire would bring US better service.. it’s evident the OWNERS do NOT CARE ABOUT US SUPPORTING THEIR BUSINESS..., so why should I. Read moreWE USED TO BE FREQUENT CUSTOMERS. AT TIMES UP TO 3-4 TIMES A WEEK!!!!! UPDATE: Dined in on Tues night 1/22; called before driving over (5 min) to make sure it was still okay to dine in. Guy said yes. We were the only ones there. It felt like we were a bother and they wanted to leave. Our food was rushed and thery threw both orders in one bag. Sooo upsetting since we were frequent customers.
Gave it another shot today; Thurs 1/31 (this time we arrived with plenty of time). Who ever cracked the oysters open did such a HORRIBLE job that there were very hard to enjoy with broken shell all over the oysters. Then the shrimp was different. We couldn't quite make out what had changed so we asked... They decided to change the recipe 2 months ago. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! Haven't returned since. 😒
FIRST REVIEW: Love the Shrimp - Kawabanga Wild! Oysters are the best in town (when in season). Wings weren't good. Cajun fries with ketchup, tapatío and lime; mmm, mmm, mmm to die for! Service needs improvement; it's a hit 'n' miss. Some are great. Others slack off a little and don't pay too much attention to their tables. But we come back for that...
Read moreI have never gone to google to rate anything! But I’m currently not able to get a hold of anyone in charge of here! I had ordered some snow crab legs and was doubting the weight, the reasons being is that they gave me one full cluster and another one that had skinny legs and was not complete (I wish I could have took a picture). We go here all the time and we have always gotten 3 full clusters. We requested them to get weight again and we’re denied! The server told us that they were already weighed and if we didn’t want them she can just take them bak and give us our money back! (With attitude and her hand on her waist) she mentioned that everyone has been getting only two cluster. Mind you, my son was hungry and that’s all he enjoys eating, if that wasn’t the case I wouldn’t have bought the food and got out of there immediately. My family wasn’t able to eat comfortably, and I’m still wondering who i can reach out to with my complain.
