Straw Hat Pizza — Restaurant in Salinas

Food was okay, the service was horrendous, terrible customer service was provided by the owner. My family spent about $300 on pizza and wings. The owner tuned the arcade games off around 8pm even though our children were playing. At about 8:45 they started throwing chairs and making extremely loud noises to encourage us to leave; they are open untill 10pm!!! Of all the pizza establishments we could have picked from, we picked Straw Hat Pizza expecting excellent customer service like (Pizza and Pints) always provided us. We recently hosted a graduation party at Straw Hat Pizza and had such a great experience! We were able to rent out a section of the restaurant, which gave us plenty of space to celebrate. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, and they gave us a lot of flexibility with bringing in our own decorations and desserts.

Every time I go to this pizza store, I order the veggie pizza, and it always come out hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings. The crust stay crispy, and the veggies taste really fresh—not soggy like some places. The staff treat me politely and make sure everything go smoothly with the order.
