Hiat's Deli — Restaurant in Salisbury

Edited :It's hard now days to find great customer service and excellent food quality, however this place has both. I'm not sure the young woman's name that works the front counter but whenever you come there she is so warm and welcoming her customer service is top notch and I thought she was a manager and apparently she's not so if the owner is reading this you may want to consider making her a manager because she's an asset to your business I'm blown away by her customer service I have done management for 20 some years now and hers and some of the most excellent customer service I have seen.

I am editing this review because of the poor food quality I am starting to experience here. I go to the place two to three times a week have even referred people here. Last night I ordered the honey old bay chicken wings, the last two times I got the wings it was great, pricey but great $15 for 12 wings, however last night the wings were over cooked, dried out, and to cover it up they poured a ton of honey and old bay on the wings. It was so much it was inedible between the dryness and all that honey and old bay. I threw the wings in the garage m I wasn't going to say anything but after spending $15 I said I would go ahead and say something. They were closed when I tried to call back last night so I called a few minutes ago and was told to bring back at least 75% of the wings and I am working, no apology, nothing, and I am a regular, regular customer and that how I was treated m I told the employee she could tell him that I was a former regular customer and would no longer be patronage his place m I found out that Trax deli in fruitland has the same products basically the same menu. Love love love their food ….. One of my favorite places to eat round Salisbury! Also they have thee BEST honey ole bay wings EVERRRR!!! My reason for the 4 star is sometimes of being understaffed & not being open as well as sometimes they change their types of wings (sometimes it might be breaded wings , or they might change to jumbo wings which I’m not a fan of big chicken wings) but other than that everything else is wonderful i always get a cheesesteak, fries , honey ole bay wings , bbq wings. I have to preface this with , I LOVE HIATS. The food is always so delicious and the team is always so friendly. The problem is, they don’t adhere to their own scheduled operating hours. They change their hours whenever they want with no notice. I have tried a few times in the last 3 months to get over there and they are just randomly closed.
