I am a bit of a pizza snob. I have to set my pizza review aside for the first point. I ordered 4 items but somehow it went to the other location. (probably my mistake) The person running the store jumped to just remake my order at this location so I didn't need to drive to the other place. The remake was so quick, I assumed 20 min, but it seemed like maybe 5. That is 7 star service in my book.
The seemingly 5 minutes it took him to get my order made me a little nervous for quality, but NO.... It was perfect pizza for this style. The crust was perfectly cooked, just a little accent char spots on the top as I think this sort of pizza should have. The sauce was also well balanced. I like MOD but MOZZ is IMO a bit better. It must be the sourdough crust that makes all the difference. It is a little more than I like to pay, but...
Read moreThis is honestly some of the best Neopolitan style pizza I’ve had in SLC! The space, the decor, and the cleanliness of this place was obvious upon entering the restaurant, and I was stoked to try some of their pies.
I love the simple, small menu. All of their pie looked amazing, and I’ll probably be going back as many times as I need to in order to try everything they’ve got. They only use 4 ingredients in their dough: sourdough starter, flour, salt, and water. It’s so soft and airy, and tastes so good! Blends extremely well with the pies that they have on the menu.
They also sell some fun alcoholic beverages to try as well, like wine and local craft beers. You’ve got to check this place out, and it’s in such a fun location on 9th, where you can walk up and down to other shops nearby, or head up to...
Read moreTried this brand new Mozz location on Wednesday night and it did not disappoint! The sourdough crust was perfectly chewy and crisp. I had the corn pizza, which was a delicious summer special, but others in my group had and enjoyed the margarita, the cheese bread, and the garlic bread. They also have yummy slushies on tap. I tried the mango one and found it refreshing. Definitely...
