Quiznos — Restaurant in Salt Lake City

It had been years since my dad and I had been to a Quiznos since they shut the one down in Idaho Falls. We decided to try a Quiznos while we are staying in SLC. This was the closest one to us. We both ordered the steak sandwich. (We used the order the tritip peppercorn all the time and loved it, in Idaho Falls.) There was hardly any meat on the sandwich, they did not get the tomatoes that we asked for at first. The meat was very tough. There was barely any sauce on or sandwiches, and what little sauce they put on was only on half of our sandwiches. The crew was more interested in their phones, talking with each other and eating than anything. When I went up to the counter to get our tomatoes and more sauce, separate trips, they sighed each time I asked for them even after explaining that we asked for those at the time of ordering. The tables were all dirty, so I had to wipe one for us. I gave this a 1 star over all, zero stars for the food and service. The only reason I gave a one-star for atmosphere is because walking it at least smelled like good food, but that smell was very deceiving. I don't usually do reviews but after looking this place up, these kind of reviews seem to be trending with this place. Now if you want a sandwich that will have you thinking about it for hours later 😋🤤, go to Feldman's Deli and get the Rachel combo (only one I've tried there so far, definitely going back!!) and it's so worth the drive. I didn’t know Quiznos was still in business. What a pleasant surprise. Their spicy vinaigrette dressing was delicious! I also was very pleased to have a person like the young man who made my sandwich, since I am a yuuuge sandwich fan. I used to eat at Quiznos on a regular basis, like once a month, but then the one near me closed down. I was reminded of all of the good memories I have had when I saw this Quiznos restaurant.

When I walked in the door, the aroma of freshly toasted subs entered both of my nostrils, and I was enthralled. I ordered a turkey sandwich, and the young man who made the sandwich was very friendly and courteous. He made me feel like that sandwich was the only sandwich he had to make that day. The turkey was cooked to perfection, and the dressing really made the sandwich pop! The flavors were like little dancers all throughout my mouth and my palate. Wow! I hope I can find a reason to drive past here again and again!

I was so excited after I ate the sandwich that I simply had to share it with those I love, so I ordered a chicken sandwich to take to my friend at work. I called ahead to tell him to not bring lunch that day, and he said “oooooo, what are you up to? 😉” and I knew that I would make his day with the deliciousness that was in store.

Well I went here for lunch on 07/21/23 at 1 pm I hadn’t gone in years and I was sooo excited to go!

Well I went there, the place had a few customers. Keep in mind this restaurant is on an industrial area so their hours are a lot different.

Either way I showed up I already knew what to order

I ordered the honey mustard bacon chicken sandwich I advised I wanted guacamole which I paid for - however they totally forgot to add my guacamole I only realized this when I got home.

I ordered the Italian sandwich for my husband and they also didn’t follow the instructions. I said no onions no olives add Mayo well they didn’t follow any of it.

I would totally understand if it was a busy rush but I had been the only one ordering at the time and the few people in there were already eating.

Also when I got there the sandwich maker guy had gloves on was talking on the phone he had his headphones on and was talking and eating Cheetos off the bag with his gloves on and talking while making sandwiches 🤦🏽‍♀️ which totally takes out the purpose of wearing gloves when you are making something. He was a chubby latino man I was grossed out and embarrassed to say anything.

I would not go back again for the lack of hygiene and not paying attention...
