Dippin' Dots — Restaurant in San Angelo

I was walking around the mall with my daughter and we were approached with an offer for a sample. Although we had never been there before as we are just visiting here, we decided to give it a try. After trying the sample, my daughter enjoyed hers, but I was less impressed with mine. When I asked for another sample to try a different flavor, I was denied because they needed to save samples for others.

I believe that this approach is not the best way to gain customers. I was interested in potentially making a purchase if I found a flavor that I liked. Denying me an additional sample came across as cheap. The samples were small and insignificant, and providing an extra sample would not have impacted them greatly. In fact, it may have led to a purchase.

I suggest adopting a different business mindset and focusing on customer satisfaction. I recommend reading the book "Give Them the Pickle" for insights on how to provide excellent customer service and build lasting...

The owner needs mental help. She is super nasty to her employees in front of customers, she ignored my husband and I when we came up to order, instead of helping us who were in line first ignored us and went straight to the other customers who walked up after us. Walked up and the older lady was on her phone after I was at the stand for a couple minutes. At first she was polite until I was trying to have a conversation about of of her employees.
