I had high hopes when this new location opened. The one on Bryant near the loop is terrible, especially the drive thru. This location is WORSE than the other restaurant on Bryant/Loop-306. If anything, this proves that dual-lane drive-thrus are a bad idea if you can't get the basics figured out. I've been to this location about a dozen times now. The interior is nice, but if you are eating food inside, isn't that a standard for any restaurant? The drive-thru service is a joke at the best of times. The longest I've waited to get my food is 23m47s. I paid, pulled up to the first window, got moved to the second window, then asked to park on the side. I didn't even get my drink. I got tired of waiting and walked inside to see what the problem was. There was no apparent problem as I saw a bag of food (still no drink) sitting near the drive-thru window. I waited 5 minutes to talk to someone. They eventually gave me my food (which was the food sitting there for at least 5 minutes, not including the time it was sitting there while I was out in my vehicle). I then had to remind them I didn't get my drink. I've been in the drive-thru with only 1 vehicle behind me, and I still had to wait 15 minutes to get my food only to realize I got the wrong order. I handed the food back and got moved to the second window. I waited 10 minutes only to receive the SAME BAG OF WRONG FOOD!

Read moreI never write reviews or rate places but this was such an unpleasant experience I have to. I came through on Saturday night 12/27 at 9:30 pm with a mobile order of 1 large no salt fry. I order no salt everywhere due to health reasons but always regret coming to McDonald’s and doing so. I was parked in the drive thru and waited 30 minutes for them to bring out a fry covered in salt, which I cannot eat. I went immediately brought this to the cashiers attention and she proceeded to argue with me that “there is no salt” “ they said they didn’t put salt” very unprofessional when it is very visible that they are covered in salt. I pull to the window because I do not want to argue and the manager is there, when I show her the fries there is no apology or apology for the rudeness. She simply says “we can’t take them back, park over there”. I proceed to wait 20 more minutes. Honestly probably the worst food experience I’ve had anywhere solely because of the argumentative rude employees. This is the nail in the coffin, I will not be back to this or any other McDonald’s. There is better food and better customer service basically everywhere else. All they had going for them was speed and this McDonald’s is the slowest I’ve ever been to. The only reason I come is because of the fries but I can’t trust them to get them right or be timely.

I Hadn’t given McDonald’s a chance in a while so I decided to give them a shot only to be disappointed. No value meals available so I ordered a regular size McCrispy chicken sandwich meal. Everything I saw was over $10 after taxes so I crossed my fingers and hoped I’d get a fill-up. It came nowhere close to being considered a lunch. Cheap snack at a premium price. Now I’m outta time and have to wait till the end of my work shift before I get a decent meal. I know the US$ is depreciating and inflation is high but how do you justify $10 for a medium crispy chicken sandwich meal when they used to be part of the $1 menu a couple years ago. On top of that, all I got was bread, chicken, 2 pickles and bread. No sauce! No lettuce! No tomato!… No ketchup for my fries! My medium drink was 90% ice! On top of that I was asked to pull around where I waited an extra 10 minutes for my food. They get 1 star for providing the drink while I waited but that was gone by the time I got the food.
