Review of Andy’s Frozen Custard
If you’re craving a dessert that blends rich flavors, smooth textures, and a nostalgic experience, Andy’s Frozen Custard is the ultimate destination. From the moment you approach the store, the cheerful ambiance and welcoming service set the tone for an indulgent treat.
Quality and Flavor: The custard at Andy’s is in a league of its own. Creamy, fresh, and perfectly sweet, it’s evident that quality ingredients are the cornerstone of their products. The frozen custard strikes the perfect balance between being dense and velvety, delivering a texture that melts smoothly on your palate. Signature treats like the Concrete are packed with mix-ins that are generously portioned, ensuring every bite is bursting with flavor. My personal favorite is the Ozark Turtle, a heavenly combination of creamy custard, hot fudge, caramel, and roasted pecans.
Variety and Creativity: Andy’s menu caters to everyone, whether you’re a classic vanilla enthusiast or an adventurous eater eager to try their seasonal specials. Their ability to customize treats allows for a personalized experience, making each visit unique. The rotating seasonal offerings, like pumpkin pie in the fall or fresh strawberries in the summer, showcase their dedication to fresh and timely ingredients.
Service and Atmosphere: The staff at Andy’s is consistently friendly and efficient, even during peak hours. They exude a genuine enthusiasm for their products, which enhances the overall experience. Whether you enjoy your dessert on-site or take it to-go, the cleanliness and casual charm of the establishment make it a pleasure to visit.
Value for Money: Despite the premium quality, Andy’s offers great value. The portion sizes are generous, and the pricing reflects the craftsmanship and high-quality ingredients that go into every serving.
Final Thoughts: Andy’s Frozen Custard is more than just a dessert stop—it’s a celebration of simple, satisfying indulgence. Whether you’re treating yourself on a hot summer day or capping off an evening with a decadent dessert, Andy’s delivers perfection every time. This is a must-visit spot for anyone who loves frozen treats, and it will undoubtedly become a staple in your...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt it was necessary to share my recent experience.
When I visited, I clearly ordered two James Brownie Funky Jackhammers and two custom concrete orders, stating it that way to make the process easier. Unfortunately, the employee at the window seemed irritated from the start. As I began giving details for the custom concretes, she interrupted me multiple times, even though I was being as clear and concise as possible.
When the order came out, I was handed five concretes instead of four. While the two jackhammers were correct, the custom concretes were completely wrong. When I politely pointed out the mistake and reminded her we only ordered four (and were charged for four), she became visibly frustrated and made no effort to correct the issue.
In the end, I left with $37 worth of custard, nearly half of which was not what I ordered. I was incredibly disappointed by both the service and how the situation was handled. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future customers receive the attention and respect...
Read moreWe decided to try the new Andy’s last night @9 (I live 3 mins away) it was muggy and sprinkling there was about 6 cars ahead (we decided to go through the drive thru). It wasn’t that bad of a wait, we got our order. As we were leaving the parking lot the ice cream was just overly melting. I’ve never seen ice cream melt that fast. We got home and I’ve never experienced it melting so fast and I was getting so sticky (this normally happens with a cone not with cups) I would suggest harder cups as plastic was very bendable hence spillage. Hubby got the snow monster, I got strawberry Oreo concrete, oldest got boot daddy concrete, my son got triple chocolate concrete and my smallest just got Oreo custard) to me the strawberries weren’t fresh they were frozen but it was not that exciting. I’m going to try different ones next time it all sounds good but everyone is...
