Was meeting some family there, they suggested this place. I've been past this place a million times (I need to pay more attention) so apparently it took 1 million and one passes for me to stop. got there early which was good. Probably within an hour the place was packed. Prices were great, portions were good, food was excellent! they have the nice fat fluffy flour tortillas that I like. I was craving a steak so I had the Ranchero T-bone breakfast plate with the salsa on the side. There's a piece of bacon on the plate because one of my nieces decided to throw it on the plate. I did not give it back LOL. Another niece ordered just a Barbacoa taco. And the bacon thrower, order the Rancheros plate and wanted a sausage patty. And that's how I ended up with the bacon LOL. Overall great service even at crunch time when it got really crazy. If you're looking for a quiet somber place don't go here. They had Mariachis at one point. Several people coming thru the restaurant trying to sell their wares. Layer on top of that all the people talking, oh and some drinking beer for breakfast, you got to love that, I know I do. The parking, that's a whole other issue. It can be very challenging, there were several moments of trying to get out that I had to wait for somebody to finally move so I could move so that someone else could take that place, that was as confusing in the parking lot as it was when you just read it. Next time I will probably back into the space, and I don't normally like to park that way but trust me you will want a clean getaway LOL. And a flour tortilla.
UPDATE... made it for lunch, it was just okay. Maybe it was an off day for the rice but we all commented that it seemed like white rice with a little coloring. I will continue to have breakfast here especially for those tortillas, those...
Read morePulled up to drive thru and wasn’t sure what to order since they had a big menu & i wasn’t the only one deciding…., I kept getting rushed by the lady on the speaker . She kept asking if i was ready every few seconds . When she had asked again , i wasn’t ready to order yet ,So she proceeded to put ME to wait for around 15 minutes to take my order . Usally a worker would say “ Let me know when ur ready “ Not rush me and get a nasty attitude . Very rude and unprofessional ,all because i wasn’t sure what to order in a span of 2 minutes i would say . They pulled us up to a parking where we waited for our order and 20 min later , she came to the car & she asked us “what was your order ?”i was confused as in why she was asking for my order so i said “what do u mean “ in confusion because i don’t remember the numbers to the plates , she said in a very rudely manner “ You Don’t Know What u Ordered ..?” . I’m not sure if these ladies had a really bad day or what . Horrible customer service . 👎The food was okay nothing...
Read moreLate night Mexican food. We started with the nachos; pile of warmed chips with a scoop of beans sprinkled only on top along with cheese but no Jalapeño offered (you have to ask for them & they are good). I had the Mexican plate the beans had zero salt but the rest of the food was extremely well salted. My plate had 3 enchiladas with meat gravy on top, rice, beans, crispy taco & salad to put in taco. The other person had the Tripa plate, he asked for them extra crispy & was pleasantly surprised they actually came out perfectly crispy! The plate came with beans, rice & side salad. He complained this was first time eating beans with zero salt. To be fair I am not a salt fan but I do love how it enhances food & im strict to never add salt to my plate. The other person with me puts salt on everything, even adds additional salt to some plates I think are fine. I'm not sure why the beans had no salt maybe we came on an off day?! But hey, the fresh squeezed lemonade washed everything...
