This was the first time that I had been to this Burger Boy and when I arrived the line looked a little long (which is what to expect when the place is new). But it gave me a chance to review the menu and see what to order. I decided to have the chicken burger, fries and a unsweetened tea. After the person behind the counter took my name and wrote it on the bag that they were going to put my meal in, I went outside to the patio to eat (due to BB being full). My friend who accompanied me asked whether or not the people would call his name. Just as he said that, one of the staff came out and called his name and delivered his order (which got a chuckle out of the both of us). When my order came, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the chicken (it's good for me when it's bigger than the burger). The fries were good and hot (it felt like they just came from the fryer). If there was a disappointment (and it's really a nit-pick) that is that there weren't more items on the menu. The only other thing that needed to be worked on (but it's to be expected when the building is new and they haven't had time to plant some grass-so this is another nit-pick) is the landscaping. But this place has the potential to be a very successful link in the Burger Boy chain.

I should have gone to WHATABURGER!!! The food was ok, but the service sucked! I cannot eat bread, but that doesn't mean I can't eat a burger. When I placed my order I asked for the meat & cheese only. Tomatoes, onions & pickles. I also asked for mustard & mayo on the side. That's exactly how I ordered my food. When I got my food there was no mustard or mayo. I took my food back and asked them if they could put some on the side. She said "we only put mustard when it's requested". I told her I did request mustard and mayo when I placed my order, and again she said "we only put it when it's requested". I asked her if it was a regular burger with a bun would you put mustard & mayo on the bun, and she said "yes". By this time I was getting upset and I asked her to just put the requested condiments on the side which she did. NEVER AGAIN! Not everyone can eat bread and I'm one of those people. Try and listen to what your customer is asking for.

I’m writing this review with great disappointment. I have been a customer since my children were small. We always enjoyed lunch and dinner at the original Burger Boy on St. Mary’s Street. The burgers were juicy, thick and delicious. We moved out of the area, and these other locations started popping up. Little by little the burgers lost their originality. This last experience was the worst. While I understand times are hard, food prices are high, and economy is not what it used to be, the product and quality have suffered. I took a picture of the burger, just to show. The patty is just as thin as a McDonald’s one, maybe even thinner. My burger looked like a veggie burger. Whether this may have been a one off or not, I was saddened by the quality. Other than that, the place is very clean, staff are good. Parking is not too shabby but can be problematic during rush hours.

If you're looking for a burger joint that is a cut above the rest, look no further than Burger Boy in San Antonio. This place truly deserves a five-star review for its outstanding service and mouth-watering taste that is leaps ahead of other burger joints like Whataburger, In-N-Out Burger, Burger King, McDonald's, and every other run-of-the-mill burger place out there.

From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is always courteous and attentive, making you feel like a valued customer. They're always ready to help you with anything you need, from recommending menu items to refilling your drink.

But what really sets Burger Boy apart is the taste of their burgers. Every bite is a flavor explosion in your mouth. The burgers are cooked to perfection, with juicy and tender meat that is bursting with flavor. The toppings are always fresh and perfectly balanced, adding just the right amount of flavor and texture to every bite. And don't even get me started on the fries - they're crispy, perfectly seasoned, and just the right amount of salty.

In short, if you're in San Antonio and looking for a burger joint that is a cut above the rest, look no further than Burger Boy. Their exceptional service and mouth-watering taste will leave you coming...

Becoming a huge fan of Burge Boy! I used to always go to Wendy’s drive-through, because they were so fast, but burger boy is just across the street. A few weeks ago there was a problem at Wendy’s on Potranco and 151 and the line was taking a long time, so I decided to chance it and go to Burger Boy instead. They had a person outside taking orders being very friendly and helpful and they also had you pay at that time so you didn’t have to worry about handing your card through a window and getting it back. The food was literally ready within a minute of me pulling up to the window, and the burger was EXCELLENT! They toast their buns, the patties are good sized and thickness and actually cover the full size bun, and overall it tastes more like a real homemade burger, not like a processed fast food burger. I also like their crinkle fries, which also seem more homemade and real than your average fast food french fries. I went there again today around 5:15, rush hour time, and the service was just as good. The food was also just as good, and the wait was literally just another couple of minutes longer. I will keep coming back here, because they just have better food and...
