Welp.. really not so happy about the experience we're having with this restaurant or lack thereof restaurant. I don't know why there would be a Google location and all this information on this food truck and then you go up there there's nothing. We're in from out of town and we were looking for something; close to where we're at to eat and drove all the way up there extremely hungry from a long day at SeaWorld only to find that they are not where the Google information said they are. I tried doing some digging ahead of time too just to make sure and I found a website that says they have another location so from what it was conveyed like online it seemed like they had two locations because that's the way it was worded and low and behold the food truck is not there at all. And we tried calling the phone number they had listed on their website and it went straight to a voicemail. So for anyone else who is really hungry and finds this restaurant... AKA food truck.. after looking and searching for food in the area. do not waste your time because we have wasted 45 minutes of ours finding the location that it said it was at only to find that there is nothing there. I apologize if I'm rambling I have not eaten today neither have my children nor my elderly parents and I am a bit frustrated to say the least. I wish we could we actually review the food because it looked so good but alas it seems that is not going to happen. Yay.. whether this is a screw up on the food truck owners part or Google, it doesn't take away from how frustrating of a situation this is. And I would caution anyone else from thinking that they have a food truck there...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this food truck by chance while looking for Asian food nearby. It was a bit later in the evening, and luckily they stay open until 11 p.m. My fiancé drove over and was greeted right away. One of the workers mentioned that the chef is half Mexican and half Chinese, which I can appreciate, being half Mexican and half Filipino myself. According to my fiancé, both staff members were super friendly.
Pictured are the crispy chicken bowl, spring rolls, and signature fried rice. Personally, I really enjoyed the seasoned vegetables and just wished there were more of them in the bowl. Overall, we’ll most likely...
Read moreWok Wēy’s new location in the downtown San Antonio food truck park near the Riverwalk is a must-try. The line was long, but the food was absolutely worth the wait. In a city that doesn’t usually offer Chinese food like this, Wok Wēy stands out in the best way.
Chef Jaime is incredible! You can tell he knows exactly what he’s doing. The flavors were bold, fresh, and balanced. The menu may be small, but everything on it hits the spot. I stopped by twice during my four-day stay because I couldn’t get enough. Bomb.com!
Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for something unique and delicious in...
