Stout House Potranco — Restaurant in San Antonio

Been here to this place so many times with friends and family. On this particular night, I met my girlfriend at the Stout on 4-19-25 around 9:45 p.m. My girlfriend was already sitting at the bar when I arrived and already had a drink. (Martini) Her and I were talking while she started to drink her martini. As she was drinking it, I tried to get an olive from her glass. Nothing serious. We weren't arguing or anything of that nature. Just simply two adults having fun. The bartender saw this and yelled at me. She said, "No, no, we don't do that here!" My response was, "This is my girlfriend and I'm not doing anything wrong." She said, she didn't care and for me to stop. I didn't say anything after that cuz I did not want to embarrass my girlfriend any further and wanted to de-escalate. She had no business speaking to me that way. My wife and I have been there plenty of times, we enjoy the Long Island drinks and look forward to it on our date nights. Last night for some reason the had a security guy that was there was completely unprofessional and extremely disrespectful. I understand the need for security and honestly; I appreciate that they will take it so seriously, allowing us to have a great time. But not right after did we comply with showing our IDs, did he reach out and shove my wife away from me without warning. Saying that he had to frisk and pat me down. Then proceed to forcefully lift my arms and started to run his hands around me multiple times. I don’t know exactly what he was looking for on my neck, shoulders, all the way down my back? Then proceeded to rub all my pockets multiple times grabbing my belt buckle and started to shake it while asking I look me over and over what weapons I had on me. I am soooo disappointed. This was my 5th or 6th time going here. I'm a classy, educated lady. I have brought 4 ppl there in the past 6 months. Today I was kicked out by security for NO reason at all!!! Someone claimed (according to security) A bartender.. said i did some craziness by the exit doors past the bathroom. . When all I did was bypass the long line to the bathrooms to fix my bra!! The fact that some claim was made by probably some insecure drunk chic and not verified is wild! I will never ever patron this establishment ever again. .. it was so embarrassing! In my 47 yrs that's never happened ro me. . . Do better! The last time I came here there was a fight.. I am really upset about it. But I definitely wasn't gonna argue my case just to stay at some lowrate bar....
