My husband ordered off the app and sent me to the wrong chilli's location... Apparently that's pretty normal because the wonderful woman at the to-go checkout counter was super sweet and told me that there are 3 locations all down 281 that are really close to one another... I then had to leave that location, and go to this one... When I arrived, it was about 15-20 mins before they closed, but there wasn't a single car in the parking lot and it looked dead... Honestly, it really looked like they had already closed when I arrived! The to-go entrance was locked, but the normal front entrance was unlocked and I was able to go inside... The entrance of this location is completely Bazar! It's like the building was built too close to the access road, because there's no way to drive in front of the building... Most locations I've been to, the building is set further back from the road so that people can drive by the front door and drop people off and whatnot... This one had a long narrow paved sidewalk to take you up to the entrance... Totally weird... Anyways, I got inside and noticed that there wasn't a single customer in the building other than myself... All the employees where cleaning this and that and no one other than the bartender even noticed my existence... I had to wait a couple more mins for the food to come out and the bartender and another server that came over to keep me company were super nice! They seemed like awesome people, just a very slow restaurant location... Anyways, the food came out and I took it home... So we spent about $80 on food for 2 people, my husband and I... We ordered brisket, ribs 3 different ways, BBQ chicken, saladas, some sides and the chocolate lava cake thingy... Honestly, we were so let down by the food we ordered... When we ordered it, the descriptions made our mouths water, but in reality everything tasted like day old, over sauced, leftovers or something... For example the brisket looked like a pulled pork soup or something! It was completely shredded, mostly just bark, and swimming in so much sauce that it could have passed as soup at first glance... All of it except for the fries, salads, and corn on the cob was inedible! It looked they had started cleaning up thr kitchen early that day and then my order came in... Instead of making all new food and dirtying up the kitchen again, they choose to give us food that was about to be thrown out... Seriously disappointed and grossed out about spending $80 for food that should have been in the garbage... The only reason that I gave 2 stars was because the bartender and server were...
Read moreWas the worst service ever received at a Chili's. We were there from out of town. Went to eat last Friday night, did not have to wait long to be seated. Waited for about 30 minutes before I ask the waitress that was not our, to see were our waitress was. She was kind enough to take our drinks order. 15 minutes later our waitress show up with me and my daughters soda's, mom had ordered Margarita was told would be right out another 30 or 40 minutes go by I ask the kind waitress that was waiting on the table behind us, that my mom had not received her drink yet has she was going to go see about it our waitress shows up so the girls tell her so our waitress goes and come back with my mom drink, she also ask her for a glass of water. Never received it. Mean while we had ordered appetizers. It took so long to get them we thought our food would come before them. I then again ask the waitress working the table behind her I was sorry to keep bothering her, but we had not received our appetizers by then our waitress had come back the other waitress told her what was going on fine out our waitress had told someone else to bring them to us, he given them to another table. So they had to go fix us some appetizers, finally get our food and hour later, as we were waiting to get some to go boxes the host lady saw we were just sitting so she ask if we needed anything, so told here we needed to go boxes and our bill. Received our bill it was higher that it should have been, mean while hadn't seen our waitress in a while. The host lady went to get the manager, because she wasn't sure that had happen. Manager get there we explaining about our bill finally our waitress show up with our receipt saying we had been charge twice for one of our appetizers. Service was awful and it was not like it was pack in there, before we left a large group came in as soon as they got seated our waitress was on it getting there drink orders. WILL NOT GO THERE...
Read moreFelt it was important to post a well-deserved positive review of this Chili's in the midst of others over the last few months that were not so great. Maybe it was luck, maybe new/different management and employees on duty, or something else, but our experience tonight was outstanding. From the moment we walked in the door we were welcomed by the very nice young lady at the front desk, had fantastic service from our server, Hudson, and very much enjoyed our meals, which were hot, fresh, and presented well on the plates. In between customers, the greeter was on the floor helping clean tables, and the entire staff seemed to be on top of things. I want to reiterate how friendly and attentive Hudson was. He just did it right and was there at all the right times.
We've had some pretty rough experiences of late in several different restaurants that were struggling to hire the (good) help they needed in the middle of the COVID craziness. It's gotten to the point that when you do have a very good experience it is extremely refreshing. Thanks to the entire staff of this Chili's for a job well done on a busy Friday night. Nice to see people getting out again as we hopefully move toward...
