This place deserves a line out the door with this food! I would wait an hour to get a table here if I had to. I promise I'm not just fanboying over here. They're menu is almost the size of Cheesecake Factory. They have Chinese, sushi, and other dishes. The level of service was excellent. I use the same test at every Chinese place I go to: How's the lemon chicken?? Brooo when I say this top 2 lemon chicken's in my life, I'm not exaggerating. The moistness of the meat, the flakeyness of the crust, the density and sugar level of the lemon sauce 🤤🤤🤤 The sushi was great too. Better than some sushi-only places in town 🤫 I'm scared to hype this spot too much cause I want to return here with ease, get a table quickly. To see it the other night with only 1 other table was wild. Maybe their more of a lunch place? Either way, i hope yall quit sleeping on this corner spot. And if you see me there, don't judge me on the bowl of lemon sauce I'm drinking from 😅 The sesame balls were also very delicious. We took an order home to enjoy and finished them before we walked into the house. Can't rave enough about this place. Will definitely...
Read moreMarch 2025 I have revisited this establishment many times since my last post. The most recent being 3/21 with a relative. We both ordered the lunch special of chicken with mixed vegetables in a white sauce. Our soups were wonton and egg drop, along with an egg roll. The food was good, the service great, and this family owned restaurant is still going strong.
I hope you decide to give them a try.
December 2024 We've eaten here before. This is a locally and family owned restaurant. Their food and service are good. They have survived Covid-19 and are still around.
We generally will visit during the lunch or dinner hours because of the specials they have for their customers.
I've been visiting them for at least 15 years and really enjoy their dishes.
I hope you decide to visit and your experience is as...
Read moreThe food was just ok. Definitely not the best Chinese in San Antonio. April's Chinese is much better. It was our first and last time. We were the only ones in the restaurant for lunch on 4th of July and the first thing our waitress told us was we couldn't order lunch. Only dinner plates were available which of course cost more. Then at the end of our meal she charged us for an extra meal. I told her which one was incorrect but she took off the least expensive meal and left the more expensive meal on our ticket. Very frustrating but since it was only a few dollars more and we didn't want to try to explain again we just took it from her tip. We are great tippers so that was her loss. My family and I...
