Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in San Antonio

I came to this location for the first time with a few friends and immediately upon entrance we were a little stunned by the overall smell. Had a slightly mildew-y/sewage smell but we looked past it when we were greeted by a friendly employee. As she was helping, I was THOROUGHLY appalled by what I saw occurring next to her. Another lady, potentially a manager or a corporate employee, began to stick a temperature probe into each and every single container present behind the main counter. Between each container she merely wiped the probe on a single dirty, disgusting napkin. In the same spot!!! Transferring all possible allergens from one container to the next. I thought to myself, “hmm she certainly could not stick that probe into meat and then continue on with each vegetarian/vegan item.” However, that is exactly what she did. She placed the probe into rice, beans, every single meat, lettuce, guac, etc. I was disgusted by this level of blatant cross contamination. As a strict, religious vegetarian I turn to Chipotle because I like how the meat is separated from other items on the line. Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Takeout

I am very disappointed with the customer service I recently experienced at one of your locations(vineyard) regarding my takeout order. Upon arrival, I was informed that someone else had taken my order. Rather than an apology or an immediate effort to resolve the situation, the response I received was simply, “Oh, I guess somebody took it,” followed by a vague assurance that I would be helped shortly.

After waiting an additional 10 minutes with no update, I had to ask about my order again. The staff member I spoke with was not only unhelpful but also rude, stating that there were other orders ahead of mine—even though my order had been placed 20 minutes earlier. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience or any attempt to expedite the replacement. When I finally received my food, the same employee displayed a poor attitude, making the experience even more frustrating.

I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way they are handled makes all the difference. There needs to be a better system in place for verifying order pickups and a more customer-focused approach when resolving errors. I hope this feedback helps improve future experiences for...

I order a bowl to go .The worst customer service in a restaurant setting. I would not recommend this Chipotle to anyone . Plus they only had 2 customers in the restaurant that should say something about their customer service. The service was horrible and the servers refuse to give me there names. I asked for manager a Hispanic girl by the name of Ceclia who has no business being the manager came out and was no help with no customer skills. Her customers service skills are very poor.Avoid this Chipotle and it smells horrible inside .Just plain horrible experience. I'm and elderly lady I was surprised by the hostile treatment I received. This employees need to received some training in customer service. They are a lot of restaurant closing down. Oh and one of the rebuttals posted on the website by a customer states they are miserable employees and I agree. It seems that they treat the elderly with no respect.
