GM Pedro! I hope you are having a lovely day:) just about a month ago my boyfriend was hired here at this establishment and we were both very excited! On the website when you go apply it says there that every employee gets a free meal during the shift. I hope you could understand my anger when I found out my boyfriend was working 10-11 hours a day with no break+ being told by MERCEDES that a free meal wasn’t possible only 50% off. Which I couldn’t understand because it says on the website which I attached here that EVERY employee gets a free one. I told him to just accept the 50% off and it’ll be okay since I still wanted to give you all a chance. Not until my boyfriend started coming home everyday explaining how Manager MERCEDES treats him differently and singles him out; telling others hello and completely ignoring him. Understandable because not every manager is going to be a dream. Just the other night me and my family placed an order right before close in which the cooks gave him 50% off on the entire order when Mercedes proceeded to get angry at my boyfriend and take the 50% off and only put it on 1 burger in which it came out to $36 for just 2 BURGERS and nachos. He proceeded to tell me she gave him a hard time and told him “well I let it slide last time you are trippin” let what slide exactly? He took home a burger once without paying which is AN EMPLOYEE MEAL. The meal he gets for free during his shift! So WHAT exactly did you let slide Mercedes? My boyfriend worked as a cooked and explains how she sits in her office all day and eats ALL day. How other workers don’t NEED to pay to eat during their break. So WHY is he treated differently exactly? Everyone whom is trying to work here beware of the way they work you! Everything she is doing is illegal. The false advertisement about a free meal for EVERY employee is illegal and you all could get in a lot of trouble for that. I don’t even care about the 50% the whole meal I just don’t like the way she disrespected him and talked to him the entire time he worked there. She needs to watch the way she treats people. I will CERTAINLY let my entire family know how the management here is. We’ve all been coming here for 20+ years my grandmother is 70 and remembers coming here when she was younger with her coworkers. My grandmother absolutely adores my boyfriend and really dislikes the establishment now because of her. We will NEVER! Be coming here again. The food is delicious but this whole experience ruined it all for us. Keep in mind his great grandmother just passed and she ABSOLUTELY made his days even worse with the way she treated him and as you know funerals are expensive he has a lot on his plate at just 20 years old. I don’t remember exactly what time it was but it was between the hours of 2 and 5 PM and it was a very small thing that happened. It wasn’t very big or probably wasn’t even a big deal to this humble clerk at the register but prior to me ordering I asked My Daughter what she wanted, and she said I want a cookies and cream shake, and an order of fries So after my father walked up to the counter and I ordered his food and then I came right after him and ordered for My Daughter because I had just ate I was not hungry and I ordered what My Daughter asked for, then I said let me get a soda for me, and I asked what was the charge for the soda and the the clerk said . It’s complementary on us. It was the clerk on the register to the left. Whoever was registered to left during that time of 11/17 between the hours of 2 PM and 5 PM and that gentleman said it’s complementary no charge. I really hope that this review does not get that individual in trouble But the way I looked at it in my mind was that this individual thought that maybe that was all I could afford I didn’t have enough money for Anything more than what I had ordered and purchased and in his heart, he felt the need to give me my soda complementary. I could be wrong, but if that was the case I could be overthinking it, but I’m a 35-year-old man and I truly feel this might have been the case due to the the way he presented the whole situation so he gave me my soda complementary and if that was the case, thank you sir and thank you Chris Madrids for having good hearted individuals working for your establishment that Deploy that type of generosity care, and consideration to your community And if I am correct about the entire situation, I thank you, sir I knowledge your generosity and your heart and I really appreciate that! Updated October 2023: revisited this restaurant early afternoon on 'eclipse' Saturday. It was packed as was the patio area which also featured a musician playing a guitar. Although the ordering line was long you could tell that efficiency was at work with two employees taking your order. The system also tracks your food in the preparation mode and for table delivery. They also have takeout which was busy. There were several employees cleaning tables and delivering food. The men's restroom was okay which was great considering the packed crowd. We ordered a macho cheddar cheese hamburger, regular fries and a grilled chicken sandwich with Jack cheese ; water to drink. We had to wait a few more minutes than normal, not only because of the crowd but because of the chicken sandwich. However this is noted by ordertaker and a sign on the menu. The food arrived warm. A large piece of chicken was noted and was tasty and moist, the hamburger was great as were the large amount of french fries. See photos. We spent about an hour there and our bill was just over $27. This is a great place to have your hamburger fix, people watch or just enjoy the outdoor music when available. I have no problem in recommending this place for great food and ambience.

Visited this restaurant midweek after 2:00 in the afternoon. It was fairly busy, first time for a visit since the remodel. They have an enormous outside covered seating area along with a large space for inside casual seating . The restaurant was clean with lotsa help everywhere. We ordered the large macho hamburger half pounder with cheese ($11.50) and a chicken burger ($7.75) with a small order of french fries. ($2.25) See menu photo for additional pricing.
