El Original Asadero — Restaurant in San Antonio

The quality of the food wasn't very good, but that have not been the case in the past. But as of my last visit my experience wasn't as pleasant as the past, but don't get me wrong it is a very good restaurant it's just wasn't this time. Ps. "You got to keep in mind this is just my opinion and mine's alone everyone else is entitled to their own" but in all honesty someone walked up to me and said hey I'm looking for a decent Mexican restaurant is this one okay I will gladly say yes it is. Because I wouldn't let one impression define someone or something at any one given time. And neither should you no matter what anyone says everyone should have the opportunity to prove themselves so remember everyone out there give people and establishment the benefit of the doubt before you make a doubt about them or their business with my taste might be different from yours and your taste might be the taste that truly matters 😁💯 so with that being said good eating and enjoy make everyday count, take care and be...

YUM Delicioso! Thanks Madi for great service from your staff. So far this restaurant is the best I've had in this area. Hands down this has the best food within a 1/2 2-mile radius as far as Mexican restaurants go. They're carné guisada was delicious. If a restaurant can't make a good carné G taco then it's not a good restaurant. Here at Asedero the tacos are on point. The huevos rancheros were also good. These tortillas taste like mi abuelita's. The price was reasonable, service was quick and the food came out within 10 mins hot n fresh. The floors, tables n chairs were clean along with the restroom. I can't wait to bring my wife here next time. Not much parking in front but plenty at the rear of the building....

I had the fajitas w eggs plate and it was really good. Homemade tortillas complete with the little old lady's that cook everything like mom used to. Very clean inside with great service. Restroom was fully stocked w hand soap and paper towels ( I know it sounds crazy but you'd be surprised by how many places are lacking in this area) and was super clean. They had tv's in all the right spots to watch the morning news. Nice, clean cozy...
