I've been going to finas just recently since my son use to work across from them at billmiller that's an other post but anyway back to finas the restaurant can get very loud with the customers. They think their at a barn house and need to be yelling. The TV's are always on Mexican channels. Also the waiters you can't get their attention unless you go to them and last but not forgotten is the Owner. Fina she can practice smiling more. I start a conversation with her and she completely ignored me, was not very talkative. And not very friendly. To start. I'm keeping her business open buy spending my money there. She just puckered her lips making noise with her teeth and walked away how rude of her😒 And I figured the reason, well I was speaking English and she did understand the language😂. I'm not racist, I'm say if you have been here for 40 yrs and don't speak Americas language then you are a lazy person. We cud have had a great conversation, but language barrier got in the way.. other than you have to trip the waitress to get ur order and they don't speak English either it's a very good restaurant. I had one of my best potato and chorizo taco. Since I've been living here. So I did...
Read moreIt's been almost a year since we last ate at Finas Kitchens. Back then, food prices were cheaper, there was more filling in your tacos, the tortillas nice and fluffy and toasty, and the service was pretty good. A year later, after 9am, they have $2.45 bean and cheese tacos, that's with tax, $4.32 Carne guisada tacos with tax, it's a $1.35 to add cheese to it so a $5.67 taco that was barely filled. The tortillas look store bought. Really thin and hardly any flavor in the tortillas. The service was just ok. We were never checked on for refills on drinks. We were just given big glasses I guess to keep us from running out of our drinks. The thing is that it's summer and really hot so I get thirsty so I drink more. It just seems they are cutting corners and still raising there prices. I recommend that they go back to their old formula. Good prices, real homemade tortillas, more food in their tacos, and at least a little...
Read moreI used to go when it was very small and quaint and it serve good food. I guess when you "grow" and build a larger facilities I suppose it got to their heads. Huevos rancheros=nasty. When I asked for two strips of bacon and took one bite I guess you can say it had been sitting in their kitchen long enough for it to harden like a rock. Plus it tasted bad. But of course I got charged for it,.....$1.00 per strip. Who the hell offers huevos rancheros w/out bacon? AT $5 bucks a plate (2 eggs, beans and potatoes) that's a mistake not worth making again. Instead of preparing for lunch the wait staff stood around watching their four tables. They should have been removing the nasty hot sauces that had been sitting at their tables all morning long and refreshing them. Coffee was good. Service was alright. Not returning. Not worth the time, the effort, and...
