The first time I had shredded chicken tacos. The chicken taste like dirty sink water and had a smell. Pepper was atepting to hide the smell and taste. One the tacos had a piece of the wire scrubber from the kitchen sink used to clean with. I removed it, let them know about it. Me and my wife traded food because I couldn't eat them anymore.. They did offer a different taco but I said no thank you. Also, the beans were burnt. The second time: I decided to give them 2nd chance.. Annnnndd this time I ordered the mexican deluxe plate with everything.. The meat was unseasond and bland. The tacos were kinda good, the chalupa was kinda good, the enchiladas taste like the sauce was canned. Other than that the meat was not good the flavors didn't sit well. The worst was the "tamales" the were small, dry, covered in grease.. But the worst was the taste they had went bad.. Pork gets slimy when it goes bad. I was surprised they actually sent it out. I couldn't stomach them, put it in a napkin and called it a day. I couldn't bring myself to say anything because I am grew up in a Mexican household.. I was embarrassed for this place to call themselves a Mexican restaurant in San Antonio.. I have no words. I will not be returning here. I have worked in food and customer service for 16 plus years and this place would be shut down in it's condition the plants need to be cleaned and watered. The cashiers are rude to say the least. I am bilingual. They speak to eachother in Spanish but not to their customers.. They took my order in Spanish but then talked to me in English. I mean I understood but when you yourself have trouble speaking English and the person if front of you is able to communicate with you in your own...
Read moreOk, I went to get tacos at This restaurant and noticed the last few times the tacos are getting smaller and the quality of food is disgusting!!! I sat in the drive thru for over 5 min was ignored and then I drove up to the window. The cashier took my order and then gave me my tacos. I decided to pull into the parking lot to eat since my sugar was low. I opened the tacos and noticed they were bite sized. Well,I already paid for them. I ate the bean/cheese in about 3 bites and it was edible. I open up my carne guisada, it didn’t have but 3 pieces of meat and no gravy. I took one bite and the tortilla was hard like it had been reheated in the micro. I tried the opposite end and it too was crunchy. I drove back to the drive thru line and told the cashier I would like a fresh taco that I PAID FOR!!!!! She took the taco back and left me waiting. She came back to the window to let me know the owner said she wasn’t going to make me a new taco because I ate the taco. I argued that the taco was gross, no meat, hard and stale tortilla and I wanted a refund!!!!! She showed me a large sized tortilla and said they were fresh!!!! Now, we know damn well she gave me a day old, empty, gross taco!!! So, I told her she knew what she was doing to her drive thru customers. She’s Ripping us off!!! This owner is a thief and a slimy business owner. After a few choice words, I left disgusted. This owner drives a jaguar from ripping people off and giving them slop!!!!! I will NEVER GET FOOD HERE AGAIN!!!! Be better my people! I’m ashamed to say this is a minority owned business who is deliberately cheating and stealing from the hard working class of people who frequent her...
Read moreHorrible service and management, I was told by whom I assume is a manager that my thinking the tea having a weird taste is me and in order to get anything else to drink I'd have to pay for it in addition to the tea. I took maybe 2 sips of the thing including after they dumped out half to put more in it. The food was also disgusting got an order of Nachos. Going to a place called frijoles you would expect them to have at least decent freshly made beans. No they were from a can with melty Velveeta type cheese and stale chips. Again went to speak with the woman at the counter and she rolled her eyes and said " Oh my God " exasperatedly. They refunded part of the order. Still charged for the whole tea despite their drain consuming more of it than I did a soda and 50 cents for a single lime wedge. Would not recommend at all if I could give 0...
