This is the worst hotel I've ever been in. Besides the awful location being next to the freeway with constant noises, the room is disgusting. The entire room was extremely humid, and while we didn't have cigarette smoke smell, it was damp and musty. The AC unit smelled really badly like unclean dampness when we turned it on. The flooring is bubbling and feels like it's coming up. The walls are cracked and peeling.
The bedsheets are stained, the floor is filthy, and the corner between the window, bed, and AC looks like it has dried vomit or food stuck down there. The curtains had specks of red on them, which looked like blood or some red drink.
The bathroom is grimy, the shower floor was covered in slime, and one of us nearly slipped and hurt ourselves. The shower head constantly leaked water, and we had to flip the ENTIRE fixture upside down to stop it.
To top it all off, we found a cockroach crawling across the entertainment center, where we had all our stuff, and also where the fridge and microwave are. All we can hope is that nothing gets into our food, that we don't end up with bed bugs, and we're going to have to disinfect everything tomorrow before we pack it up in the car to continue our drive.
Please find a better hotel. Please listen to the reviews. I understand the hotel management might be trying, but they're not trying hard enough if this is the state their rooms are kept in. You'd be better off sleeping in your car than staying here...
Read moreI would stay here again. The room was nice. Comfortable bed, kinda cool bathroom shower and plenty of hot water. This is a biggie for me. Some Red Roof inns have luke warm water or limited hot water. Wooden floors were swept but I don't think they had been mopped in a good while. Larger than usual mini fridge. The turntable in the microwave didn't work... No big deal. While we didn't need any housekeeping while we were there they offered it everyday. Some Red Roofs you've got to hunt them down to get a clean towel. Not so here. My wife and I are truck drivers. There is no room for a tractor and trailer here but plenty of room for the tractor only, which was our situation this time. I was disappointed in a couple things. There was no coffee in the lobby as advertised, and none in the rooms either. The one vending machine was out of order the whole 4 days we were there. There was no suitable area for dog walking. No attention paid to the ground at all. They also charge a refundable $40 deposit if you have a pet. This is understandable I suppose but I've never stayed in a Red Roof that did this. All in all it was a pleasant stay and as I said, we would stay...
Read moreI checked in a room with 1 king bed, but upon arriving there was no AC working and the feeling was like in SAUNA. I turned on the AC and it was very slow, in about 30 minutes, I reached out to the front desk with an issue and they gave me another room. Another room was the same and the temperature was at least 90F, I called them again and was told that all rooms are like that, all AC units are shot off before customers' arrival, and customers should turn them on. I was waiting for about 3 hours for the room to be cooled ( arriving at around 2 am, I didn't sleep until approximately 5 am). My Suggestion to all, Its better to spend $15-$20 more and stay at La Quinta or any other simmilar 3 star hotel for your short or even long stay, where you will receive good service, clean rooms, and Of course cool rooms upon arrival. For property staff, to keep your business up and running, you should let all AC units work in your rooms upon customers' arrival. I spent around $90 and its...
