I ordered the pork chashu with a miso base, and what should have been a hearty, flavorful dish turned out to be pretty underwhelming. To be fair, the bowl came generously loaded with noodles and toppings. You definitely get a full portion, and they don’t skimp on the pork either, my bowl came with three thick slices of chashu. Unfortunately, quantity couldn’t make up for quality. The pork was noticeably dry, tough, and bland. It lacked the rich, seasoned flavor you'd expect from proper chashu. If there were spices or a marinade used, they didn’t come through. The broth itself was just okay, nothing special, nothing memorable. It did the job of warming up the noodles, but it didn’t pack the depth or umami punch you'd expect from a miso base. The service was similarly average. The staff did what they were supposed to... took the order, brought the food, but there was no energy behind the experience. It felt transactional, not welcoming. I left dissatisfied. I didn’t even finish the pork and only ate the noodles. While the portion size was generous, the quality and overall experience didn’t make me want to return. There are better options in San Antonio.

This was our fist time being at this place, so we didn't know how or what to really order and the guy at the register was no help at all,he didn't even talked to us, it was really awkward, so we just got boba drinks and sat down, people came in and saw them order at the kiosk so we did too, we got our food and more people came in and saw the guy was very talkative to them, and he kept staring at us, so it made it more weird. Food was really good we order a variety of dishes: 1. Chicken ramen: was very flavourful and good quantity of chicken, price wise I guess its okay 2. Chicken yakisoba and my daughter didn't really like it, she said it was too sweet, price wise a bit overpriced for that plate 3 Crispy chicken ramen and it was also good only difference is they serve the chicken on the side 4.Poke bowl this was my favorite! Everything was so fresh, and so many choices to add, I had mango on mine and it was super hard other than that it was amazing and the serving size is good! price wise 👌 We also had boba drinks flavores were coffee, matcha, strawberry and tiger sugar(this last one was super sweet) coffee was my favorite!

This place is a prime example of what I mean when I say Texas has no good ramen. Firstly, the heavy set white guy who took my order had no sense of customer service. He seemed annoyed that I came in to eat and was more concerned about getting back to whatever he was doing on his phone. The guys who served my food were polite. The taro milk tea was average and there's definitely better places to get some. I will say though that the boba was fresh and soft. And the ramen. Christ it was terrible. The chashu was very tough and chewy. Either it was over cooked or had been sitting under a warmer all day. The tonkotsu broth tasted like it was made with dirty tap water. The noodles were rubbery and chewy. The egg looked like plastic. There was a single fish cake at the bottom of the bowl. This place is fast food levels of ramen, like Burger King in the middle of nowhere quality. Just really, really bad. I would recommend you try making your own at home. Your first attempt would probably be better than what they serve here.

To summarize my experience here will be simple best sushi experience I've ever had and that's on a take out. For the long answer I want to say thank each one of you for the amazing food and overall experience. For the restaurant has a nice vibe small/medium size good place to gather here very chill. Price wise depends on you I can't speak on much of the menu but as for the sushirito very fairly priced and the amount of food you get is so much I can honestly say I got full ate all four pieces the to go plate with food weighted approximately 2lbs (didn't personally weigh it). But if you like to customize your rolls and eat large amounts like me this is the place I am not promoting on over eating but what I am saying is if you have a big appetite and love sushi but can't find a place that fills you up this place can fulfill those needs. My personal experience I tried to place a to go order but I decided to check the place first I will say I had low expectations at first a sushirito what no way this sounds like a scam maybe like a large amount of rice and little sushi or any other things you can add to it. So I cut loose and ordered in my opinion the best mix and match food I loved from sushi and tried some new things. Can't like the wait wasn't long maybe 5-10 minutes am ball parking again my expectations were low while waiting I had received my boba drink with a server with a big welcoming smile thanked me and all while waiting more people that had been waiting received their food I couldn't keep my eyes off the ramen bowls for me it looks big and again fulfilling. Here I was thinking should've I ordered ramen instead but not long after the same gentleman that brought out the drink came out with the food and handed it to me feeling a bit nervous but excited to a point headed out thank the gentleman for the food and service. While holding the bag and headed over to my car I started to think this bag is heavy there's no way they got all I ordered in here while in my car I decided to not wait to go home but to try one piece right there. Man let me tell you that first night I wanted to head back in and hug everyone head across the street and tell them to take notes best way to explain it's looked so much of what I ordered wrapped tightly in seaweed and rice and a perfect amount of rice to I didn't feel cheated. If you're a light eater you can split that...

I make online orders at this location all the time. They get my order right ALL the time. Well 2/9/24 I made an order for 1 pork belly ramen with tonkatsu broth (pork bone broth per their menu) and one crispy chicken ramen with the same broth. When I took the food back to the house I immediately noticed I was given 2 chicken broths instead of tonkatsu. I called the store and after repeatedly stating my order to the incompetent employee I was told my name and number was taken down along with the order specifications and to just come in and it would be replaced. Ok cool. Fast forward to 2/10/24, my wife goes in to get the replacement order. Mind you we were not given a receipt at the time of the initial pick up the previous day. I had a receipt from the online order. Well as my wife is explaining the situation she is being laughed at and the employees are trying to gaslight her into thinking chicken broth and tonkatsu are the same thing. If that is true then it's false advertisement and I guess we have a possible law suit on our hands. Furthermore even though we had called, showed proof of receipt and explained the situation the manager at the time would only offer one soup to be replaced because his employee only put down that there was only one even though we had called and were told it was all taken down. Shady. Get this, my wife's ramen was refunded but they wouldn't replace it on the spot. The add injury to insult they refused to serve my wife all because she wanted her ramen then and now. Make it make sense. We come in all the time. You can refund my order but won't replace it?? Yeah you just lost my business and for anyone reading this they are very unprofessional and unnacomidating to anyone who isn't...

I got several things here, and none of them were very good. The pot stickers were okay, the taro boba was alright but not good. Everything else was kinda bad. Not inedible, but not worth the money (even though the prices are on the cheaper side, which is nice). Tonkotsu broth didn't smell, look, or taste right. It wasn't properly emulsified and creamy, but kinda thin with fat floating on top. Also had kind of an unpleasant smell and flavor. The eggs were plain. Either completely unseasoned or almost unseasoned, but certainly not marinated in anything to add flavor. They were also overcooked, and about half were hard boiled.

This was ordered to go, so it was probably sitting for about 10 minutes before I got it and another 10 minutes to get back to the apartment. But I've tried to factor that in and none of my complaints are about things that would be affected by that (temperatures/textures/overall appearance). It's the flavor that's not good, either poorly seasoned or just done completely incorrectly (like I suspect the ramen broth was).

Overall I don't think it's worth the money. It's certainly edible, and the people seemed fine for the quick interaction we had, but there's just so much they should do better to be competitive with surrounding...
