I really like this place, but I must say to stay away from the sweet and sour or lemon chicken. They use a mechanically separated pressed chicken patty that is fried and cut into strips. That was super disappointing. I highly recommend their pepper steak, beef and eggplant with garlic sauce, and spicy black vinegar fish (if you love jalapeno). They are all good and served with egg roll and soup for about $7.50 at lunch. We do not go at dinner time because the price is higher. For dinner we go to Asian Cuisine and Pho a block away. The rice and the orange chicken is better at Asian cuisine and Pho, but the sweet and sour soup is way better at King's Bowl, and King's Bowl serves pepper steak. The egg rolls are standard frozen rolls. The portions of food are large. They used to serve unique, authentic Chinese food, but I guess it wasn't selling, so they changed the menu and aren't as special anymore. They are still a terrific fast food experience over all. If you want fried items like, sweet and sour or lemon chicken,...

Update: Now my wife and I are both sick from this place. I am quite sure we were served old meat. avoid this place at all costs.

This might have been the worst food I have ever eaten; it is definitely the worst food I have had from a restaurant. Zero seasoning; the dishes were not even close to what the pictures were online. We are requesting a refund due to how bad it was. The meat was incredibly mushy and the noodles and veggies had a very gross texture also; I think too much baking soda was used to tenderize it. There was no salt or seasoning of any kind on any of the appetizers or entrees we ordered. nothing tasted even remotely good. I had to take our food and make my own sauce for use to even be able to tolerate it. There was zero color on the chicken, it was plain boiled meat in an unseasoned liquid. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!

Absolutely inedible. Worst food I have ever had from a restaurant. The taste, texture, appearance and smell were all bad. It tasted like expired chicken that had way too much...

Okay so I ordered from here tonight on 11-6-15 and the older lady who answered the phone was really sweet and nice and she took the time out to answer any questions I had about the foods and what they were made of and etc...i had seaseme seed chicken which was good full of flavor I can give the dish a 5 star I also had combination chicken and shrimp fried rice which is so gooooooooodd I can rate it 5 star I also had the combination chicken shrimp lowmn I rate it 4&half stars because the noodles were like spaghetti noodles I think the flat ones should be used for this dish I also had the sweet and sour soup which was really really really delicious!!! I rate that a 5 star I also had the egg rolls which I rate a 5 because they had a lot of flavor mostly vegetable taste I also had the egg drop soup which I didn't like it had a weird smell and after taste I rate it a 3 star and I also had the fried rice as a side and it was okay basic fried rice over all the food was fresh hot and freshly made will eat...

Today 8/10/25 was my first time ordering from this place. I was looking for a great Chinese restaurant with delicious General Tso’s chicken. It appears that I have found just that! The chicken is spicy, delicious and very tender! And the amount of chicken that I was given with the delicious fried rice was a lot! The order also came with egg drop soup, chips and an egg roll. All of this only set me back just under $16! I was not expecting the portions to be this big and the chicken to be this tender and delicious! And they have a functional drive thru as well, which is a nice convenience. I will definitely be back! To the restaurant: thank you for a very delicious and filling meal!

Our go-to for Americanized Chinese. The eggrolls are great (which is pretty much my prerequisite for giving a thumbs-up) and the pork fried rice has tons of large cubes of bbq pork in it. What made Kings Bowl our go-to though is the ORANGE CHICKEN - ordered it once on a whim, now we never get anything else. It's the sauce that makes it - totally not syrupy reduced-down Fanta like other places make, this is bright and has a ton of citrus zing to it. Love it! Extra super bonus: The lady that works the drive thru window (there's no dine-in at all) loves my Great Dane and always gives her a fortune cookie šŸ’™

Food is delicious, and the portions are large in my opinion (I ate some already in the picture bec I couldn’t wait!) You can tell the chicken is processed in-house so that’s great. No shortage of flavor on the chicken, the fried rice was not over powering so that’s great. No veggies in the fried rice which is also great. The egg drop soup is the star for me. I consider myself an egg drop soup connoisseur and let me tell you… Hands down, best egg drop soup I’ve had in SA and will be going back to stock up no doubt. Please support! They are sweet hard working people
