I arrived after seeing the sign in the window turned on. I always get excited about that and getting that hot donut! Well, not today. š I looked over at the window and the glazing machine was not running.
There were no fresh donuts coming off the line! A female was scraping the glaze in what looked to be prepping the machine. I looked at my watch and it was 8:25 AM. It was like they were shutting the system down or something.
Iāve never experienced this at any Krispy Kreme before, but I placed an order for two hot donuts, and anytime Iāve been to Krispy Kreme, they pull the fresh, hot donuts off the glaze line and put them right into a box. You donāt have to wait because theyāre fresh.
This didnāt happen today. They had to pull donuts off of the cooling cart that were obviously cold. I say that because then they started up the glazing machine which obviously takes some time to heat up, and then they ran my two cold donuts through the semi-warm glazing machine. I say I donāt think it was heated up fully when they did that because when I opened the box, they were only barely warm.
Talk about disappointed.
Iām sitting out in the parking lot eating my cold donuts and at 9 oāclock they turned off the sign. So I assume I probably caught them when they were trying to shut the machine down and clean up prior to 9 AM. Iām not sure.
One other thing of note, I think Krispy Kreme is skimping on their coffee cups as well because I ordered a large coffee and my coffee cup was very bendable and provided no rigidity. When youāre drinking a very steaming hot cup of coffee rigidity is your friend! I was actually considering buying a branded coffee cup that they sell in the store to put it in just to make sure I didnāt spill it. Other places that serve hot coffee have very sturdy cups, so it was immediately no noticeable.
I also asked for a fork anticipating to eat my āhot & glazedā donut, but all they had were spoons. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and nice and offered to go look. He did find a spork. I appreciated his effort.
Three strikes in one visit. I donāt get it. If youāre not willing to serve hot donuts, as expected, why have the sign turned on?
Besides that the place was spotless so that was a plus. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice. The coffee was very hot and very good.
I definitely think thereās room for improvement at this facility. Patrons expect HOT, GLAZED, donuts- not cold...

I had asked for that buy one get get one free dozen. I told him about the coupon but another lady came so I showed it to her I guess she got upset because he said I don't even know why she came to you she didn't even tell me about the coupon I say yes I did go to when I came this other lady came and I showed it to her she was she was standing there but that's when the other lady got upset I told her story but the lady was there so I showed it to her that's why Lindsay said that the coupon was not good when he did say but it was good until January 3rd but the other lady said no it's expired so my nephew showed her and I guess she got upset again sorted story tell my husband told her let me just have the ones that are on special and here's the coupon tsp what kind of donuts I wanted Isis for the ones that are special she said to you when I saw it I said yeah go ahead nothing they're not good cuz they're really good but they were cold and then Dunkin Donuts route to the floor so my sister pick them up and just ask the lady where could you throw him and she got the Donuts to my sister went to see down she told her thank you and then she came back all the way to the table and she said you do know that trash was near you it's right there so my sister said I am very sorry thank you so much then we ate some of the donut but we just went instead. And I'm not saying I don't go again because those donuts are good I guess they were just tired we've been there several years and most of going no matter what like I said don't...

Upon arrival I noticed an extremely long line so I called the location to ask if I had to wait in line or was I able to grab the order from the door. I was told the inside is closed and I had to wait in line and that they was now preparing the order. I arrived at the speaker at 8:30Am where I provided the name for my door dash order. I was then told to go to the front of the store to get the order. Upon arrival to the front door there was at least 5-6 other dashers there waiting to pick up. Once the lady came to the door I asked if I could please get the order for Crystal T. Which was 2 dozen donuts. The lady said others was there first and they are short staffed. I explained to the lady I called at 8a and was told I had to wait in line just to get to the speaker 30 minutes later to be told to wait in line at the door. Clearly she did not care about my time because the then refused to serve me my customer order!!!!! I am livid as I wasted 40 minutes of my time just to be refused service. Where was the professional? Where was the communication??? As a worker that should have been understood this person is a little upset because they have been here over 30 minutes and was told to come to the door when I could have been told that at 8am. I am disappointed at this location and how they handle orders via online services. Something needs to be done quickly and the worker or manager needs to go back to customer service training as the situation was not handled properly at all.
