Woah, very upset 😭 about this place. One wants nothing more than to support our raza but our Sunday brunch was very bad. My sister said the best thing she had was the coke. The consomé on my birria plate was watered down lamb sweat. Quesadillas de flor de calabaza stunk and the tortillas were not well cooked. Took a bite and left the rest. Pambazos, dry! They were ok though. The chicharrón was old and hard, the guac was flavorless. The agua de Jamaica was beginning to taste spoiled. My torta chilanga was soooooo goood up until I ate the cheese one by one and one piece of cheese threw the experience off bc it was spoiled.

On top of all of the aforementioned the service slacked and all to come to find out that gratuity was forced upon a larger group. Not a 13%, 10%, but an 18%……. Lord, I was already angry before this…. If you are from the Houston are this gives me the Birreria y Micheladas* restaurant vibe and y’all this ain’t far from the taste either … the idea is great but the entirety of the experience and food lacked.

I will perhaps never ever be back on that neck...

I wanted to like this place so much because of a tiktok… we ordered. I never got my water to drink. My kids (3) finished their aguas pretty quickly. We opened them put them on the corner of the table and reminded the waiter about refills. Sitting there over 15 minutes nothing. Everyone’s food came out and I didn’t get my plate because she didn’t understand apparently. She came back to the table to ask if I didn’t order anything I told her what I ordered and she came back and said sorry I didn’t understand. I didn’t want food anymore. I didn’t want to wait since my family had started eating. 15 mins passed by and we still didn’t have anything to drink. My husband got up and just paid for our food and we left. We left 75% of the food. It was ridiculous. Who can eat and not drink anything? Sorry TikTok but you lied… anyway just sharing my...

A small hole in the wall with a parking lot that's just as small. The place was packed and staff friendly. Festive small multicolored globe lights are strung in a zig-zag pattern across the ceiling. When my beef fajita plate arrived I was rather shocked to see the size of the strips of "beef fajita" meat on my plate. Literally, each piece,no larger than the size and width of a shoe string style/cut french fry. The rice was good, not wet, nor too dry and the refried beans were palatable. Overall, the restaurant was congested, but had an amiable feel. Prices were average. The food overall, in my opinion, could use a bit more flavor and the beef fajitas need a new butcher, lol. The waitstaff was very accommodating and friendly. The parking lot a bit challenging unless you drive an ultra...

To stare the pros: the taste is what I expected. Very delicious food, the toasted bread , the hot sauce was really good. I had the chilaquiles 3 colors and we had the machete as well. You can pick 2 different fillings for the machete. We had chicharrón prensado and tinga. The waitress was helpful and attentive. The only con: was the restroom, there is a table right in front of the door and that makes it difficult for walking in. We will definitely return for the barbacoa.

My first time here and definitely not the last one. This place is totally different from every taco place that I have been in San Antonio. Their Machacado tasted amazing. Better than most places I have had them before. I tried Huarache for the first time and I liked it. Must come back to try the Pulque, Tinga and their Borrego. Service and prices were excellent!
