This is the New Pizza Hut adjacent to a Baskin Robbins. Near St Cloud and Bandera! I walked in, as Pizza Hut, is my absolute fave in the pizza category! I greeted the lady directly in front of me behind the counter, I guess she didn't hear me, so I greeted her again, loudly, maybe she didn't hear me the first time. As I was wondering what to order. The employees making the Pizza's, very busy, took time away to tell me the specials and what they were making fresh! The lady is still standing there just staring at me. "Awwwkwaard" to say the least! I go to sit down and I hear this lady greet the next person to come in. I looked up, thinking...like what the heck am I? A NOBODY obvi!! Well, it turns out it was a young man who worked there. He said surprised, " Wow, you're in a good mood today." Dang, so she did hear me. Eeejo.. I feel like "hated". If the kitchen staff had not come up to the counter and offered me some choices, I would have turned around and walked out, with NO intention of returning. I was able, with their kindness and service, to sit and work through my lunch and have my well-behaved, tiny, certified support companion join me. I had no other issues with this establishment, except for entering into a place where I was not even greeted, but just stared at, like I didn't belong there. Someone with a medical condition, already has so much to contend with, sometimes genuine kindness can mean the difference between a nice lunch and an entire breakdown from the inside out. Thank you to all the gentleman on staff. I'm sorry to the lady having a difficult day. Maybe try a smile, or practice a greeting each time someone enters, a simple "Hello" would even be just fine. Read moreI typically love Pizza Hut but this location did not do well... I placed an online order at about 5:15 pm for pick-up at 6:30 pm. We arrived for our order (pizza, pasta and wings) only to be told at 6:41 that the pizza is ready but everything else is not and they would bring it out to me when it was but had no idea how long it would take. I noticed that we were 1 of 2 cars waiting for our order and wondered what could be taking so long as I had been sitting there for 15 minutes at this point and no other customers had come and gone and also no delivery drivers had left the building. They then brought out the pizza and stated that the pasta was about to be started and they were not sure about the wings yet but that I could have the pizza now. I told them that the pizza would only get cold and they should just bring everything out together when it is ready. They said that since the pizza has already left the building they could NOT take it back inside and I need to take it from them if I wanted to get my pasta and wings. Keep in mind, I have already paid for my order so I should be getting my food regardless, there was no need to say I could only get it if I took the pizza. I then asked if I could just cancel my order because at this point it is now after 7:00 pm (over 30 minutes past my pick-up time.) They said no I could not and would need to wait for my order and then walked away. I got out of my car and opened their door, placed the pizza on the counter and asked for a refund. We ordered a pizza online to pick up this location before, but when I went to get the pizza this time, they said they didn't have on order for our pizza. They said we must have ordered for a different location because they didn't have it. My daughter was out so I wasn't able to reach her for a few minutes and when I finally got a hold of her she read the order confirmation number over the speaker and they still insisted that they didn't have it. The lady just wanted to argue with me, not even bother to look for our pizzas. I started looking at the stacks of to go orders they had waiting to go and then suddenly, they magically found our pizza. IMAGINE THAT.
The manager refused to give me the receipt for the pizza (we had already paid for it online) I am thinking because there was a survey on the receipt and they didn't want me to take the survey.
What a terrible customer service experience, not helpful at all and that manager just wanted me to be wrong for the sake of her being right.
There are plenty of pizza shops. This one doesn't deserve...
