La Feria Del Taco — Restaurant in San Antonio

I’ve got to be brutally honest with this review. As Mexican, I have eaten in a lot of Mexican restaurants, establishments, food trucks, etc. I have to say that this place has disappointed me big time. I ordered a Torta Campechana and a Super Quesadilla de Asada through Uber Eats and chose this place because most reviews were good, but unfortunately it wasn’t.

1. Torta Campechana - I was barely able to taste the meat; the avocado, and whatever else it came with were overpowering the main dish/meat. Bread was soft though, which I liked, but that was pretty much all.
2. Super Quesadilla de Asada - was meh… I could tell it was like mozzarella cheese or something (but the cheap one, of course); the meat was alright and almost in all of the food trucks I’ve gotten food from, the quesadillas are bigger. I was hoping that at least the salsas were good, but that wasn’t the case either. I hope they take this into consideration, so they can better themselves. ORDER UNDER...

Nice spot, lot of food options. Has a covered sitting area with benches & restroom in the back. Food was okay, the corn tacos were huge! Big quesadillas were actually just a bit bigger than a regular sized quesadilla, so pretty small. Torta was alright. Hot dog wasn’t it. I should mention to ask for little or no ice if you actually want something to drink. They filled my cups to the top with ice! Horchata didn’t taste like horchata taste like got damn banana water. LITERALLY. Salsa is spicy and tasty! The first lady that took my order was very nice. The lady that I complained about my drinks made me pay for more drinks. She’s lucky we were spiced out. I would get all this food for like $45-50 in Houston, spent $75 here. It’s a No and not coming...

Wow! Amazing food. Great price. A definite must try. This was my first time eating food from here, and I tore into and inhaled them so fast, I wanted seconds. I ordered the Pastor Mini Tacos . To my surprise, I received my order already topped with onions and cilantro. Which a lot of the times at other places, comes on the side, so this was a good thing. No time waisted there dressing up my tacos. All I physically did was throw some lime and green hot sauce on top. The Pastor was nicely made. Tender, flavourful, all around goodness. There’s literally nothing else to say but, go try their mini pastor tacos. You’ll thank me later!
