Empanadas are seemingly filled and fried to order. When I said I was wondering whether to choose the beef picadillo or bacon, the owner made me one with both. It was fantastic, and it came with an interesting and pungent white sauce (garlic?) and something resembling pico.
Later we realized they also had Venezuelan style tamales, filled with what tasted like chicken soup with olives. It was moist, delicate and rather unique.
They're newish, and basically just offer 2 things and do them really well. Go support them, they're a really nice family offering something different...
