This review is based on not one visit, but several visits... It's nestled in a not so glamorous area of south town, but it's worth the stop. The food is made fresh. They serve homemade lemonade, Jamaica and Horchata, and amazing hot coffee. They serve their breakfast plate specials to 11am that go for $6.99 that includes potatoes, beans, two tortillas and coffee or ice tea. Their potatoes are mixed with chorizo and is delicious, but you can request them with out the chorizo their enchilada plate lunch special go for $6.99 and includes an ice tea. They offer several other lunch specials that go for a dollar more that also includes ice tea. The place is always clean with plenty of parking, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I never have to wait for a table during lunch time and They also have a drive through if you're in a hurry. I highly recommend their enchiladas, "carne de puerco asado(Thursdays only"), and any of their breakfast tacos or plates. NOTE: I do NOT recommend their barbacoa or their hamburges. Their hours are from 5:30am-3pm....

I stood at the register for a minute with them right in front of me, with no acknowledgement. Then. The nice lady with the headset on at the expo line came over and took my order. She then relayed it to the main chismosa who rang me up but continued to focus on her gossip making me wait for her to take my money then wait to give me my change back.
Perhaps i only got half the attention a customer deserved because im only half mexican. I look white as hell though. I felt like that would be stupid if that was the case, not because prejudice which we are All guilty of in some way but because the lady who seemed not to care about customer service had bleached platinum blond hair. Like bihhhh you are not a natural rubia! They did a good job on it but you can still tell 🤣.
As for the tacos, they were...
Read moreJust after we sat down it got packed. Menu is cluttered with few descriptions of the plates. Prices are moderate with other Mexican food places, they also have hamburgers and desserts. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was good, I didn't realize it didn't come with tortillas, I like to spread my refried beans on a tortilla and top it with the lettuce & tomatoes, if I am full, I take it to go. I notice it is closed at 3pm so I hadn't stopped before. I was traveling around the detours, and saw it was open, another customer was telling me they aren't open at midnight like the Maps say, but they are open when she is heading into work and she gets tacos to go by 6AM There was a little sign posted said open Monday through Friday had 5:30 on it but does not say AM or PM, I snapped it is on the long photo of the windows with the Breakfast Taco price by the Open sign. I took some pictures, but I was the driver and being rushed by one of my friends who...
