My wife and I were so excited to see a new Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant in town, especially with the news that Rehoboth is closed either temporarily or permanently. Fear not: Mesob is amazing!!! The dining room is clean, bright, and inviting. The server and owner were extremely attentive, always asking if we wanted more injera and even cooking us a little something special just so we could try it. We had the vegetarian combo plate and were not disappointed!!! I won't try to spell the names in Ethiopian or Eritrean, but the spicy red lentils, split peas, green lentils, chickpeas, green beans/potatoes/carrots, and cabbage/potatoes/carrots were AMAZING!!! Meat was tender and perfectly flavored for the tibs and awaze tibs. I always get a veggie combo with my meat dishes and it was great as well. Ordered the Ethiopian coffee and the family platter and was enough to feed 5 or more people. We really enjoyed every thing served as well as presentation and helpful explanation by staff.
