Nacho's Red Dragon Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in San Antonio

Sadly I won’t be coming here anymore. Had a horrible experience with the woman in the drive thru. I placed my order...there was a car behind me so she asked if I could park and she’d bring my food out. Mind you all I ordered were 2 beef and broccoli dinners...that’s all. So I’m waiting and then I see her give inside customer some tea then see her eating something from a table then car that was behind me leaves with their food. I see another car pull up and I see her take their order and then shortly see the cook place two orders for her and she’s bagging it up but she’s not coming out with my food. It’s for the car in the drive thru..so it’s already been more than 20 minutes..I know it’s not fast food but when 2 cars have come in gone it’s over. So I go in and she’s talking to herself under her breath and hasn’t acknowledged me standing there so I tell her I need a refund. She asks what was your order? And tries to give me the plates on the counter that I’m sure have been sitting there for at least 10 minutes. I say no I want a refund..she says no or take your food or what are you gonna call the cops? And she’s keeps telling me in front of customers that I am wrong that there was only one car. Finally the cook/owner comes out and I’m trying to explain to him what happened and this person keeps talking over me. He tells her to stop and gives me the refund. I thanked him, apologized to HIM and told him he needed to find better help. I don’t know if she’s just an employee or family but she needs to learn some basic customer service. I’m sure they won’t go broke by losing me as a customer but I hope he doesn’t lose more because of this person. I just don’t trust that she wouldn’t be spiteful and spit In food or something or just be completely rude. But aside from that the food was...

This was my favorite chinese place, for the taste, but everything else about it, just no. The place needs an update, the service unfortunately is poor, they will sometimes answer and sometimes won’t, they just raised the prices so the menu you see isn’t it. Today, I had to call 3 times to get my order in, once it went in I showed up after the time they said and it wasn’t ready, then they charged me, I got home to the surprise half of my food wasn’t there. Food for my son, but not enough for both of us. I ordered a two person they gave me a one. I called to complain and all the person does is blame the manager and wash her hands by claiming she read it back to me when I had to ask her several times to repeat herself because I could not hear her and even asked her for the amount she charged me twice because it did not sound right. Then she continues with “I can’t do anything for you, she was the person that took your order, call her at 11 tomorrow.” Honestly the person I was talking to and the person that took my order sounded the same for all I know they were the same people. I’ve gone several times to that restaurant and it’s always the same person. I had to hang up, not only was I left hungry after trying so hard to put in my order, I was gaslighted after, and not even apologized to. So disrespectful. Not worth the good egg drop soup, they need better staff. There are way too many other restaurants for them to feel it’s ok to treat paying...

I’ve driven by here so many times and never once stopped because I didn’t see it. A few months ago I saw it and was like no way that’s a Chinese restaurant. I finally went in 20 min to closing time because my family was craving Chinese food.

Let me tell you I got the chicken egg fu yung as a test cause if you mess that up I’m not going back. It was sooo delicious. Whatever else I ordered for my husband and kids was so delicious they wanted more at a later date. We all got different dishes this next time, so that’s a total of 10 different dishes tried and it was EXCELLENT again! My almost two year old is so picky and barely eats and her face was buried in her fried rice cause she couldn’t use her fork fast enough. My teen is also picky and barely eats and he was drunk off his meal and finished it the next day!

The last thing that is great about the restaurant is the young waitress is super funny and really really nice. She has a great personality and is more than willing to meet your needs while you wait or when you come pick up your food. It’s clean and well kept on the inside and I will be going...
