I decided to give Panera Bread 3 stars, as an average, mostly because it looks like the manager is trying, based on his words. I am very bothered by noises, which I think many, many people purposely do just to be mean. This is for real. I know this was at least some of the problem, particularly at the one by 1604 & Bandera, but this may have been as much as a year ago. I stopped going. My first visit, at The Rim was GREAT. Then, things started going wrong. I can't remember what, exactly, but I remember the image of a guy standing by a bag of trash that had just fallen all over the floor. This was my view from the drive-thru window, & it looked like he was staring at me, rather than picking up the trash! I also thought the young woman at the window looked a little unkempt, although this is pretty funny-sounding, coming from me, I'll admit. She just looked disheavaled-- maybe overworked. I think they needed an inspiring manager to help them think about if they knew where they were going, & if they liked what life was showing them (like the Diana Ross classic). I vowed not to go back to that one, which was fine, because one opened closer to my home. Yay! I was so excited! Again, my first visit went great! The second visit didn't. It appeared that she purposely tapped her ring on the counter, very loudly, which hurts my ears So Bad, that I believe someone hypnotized hypnotic noise torture when I hear that sound. I stopped going for a long time ( at least 6-8 months). The problem is, I LOVE places like Panera Bread. If I didn't have this problem with noises, they would be making SO Much Money, because I would be going there to read, talk to people, drink coffee, & eat soups & other great food, AND ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO STALK ME I ASSUME WOULD BE GOING THERE, TOO! Panera Bread would be up a couple of hundred a day, on average, easily, before you even get to that popularity multiplier effect--- exponential growth. So really, Panera Bread, you have an interest in finding out who my stalking torturers are, too! Once you know who these weirdos are, I hope you sue them for all the money you lost in these years. I could have easily bought a bagel with cream cheese, & coffee, Every Day, if I could go inside, & Lots of Times, I would have invited my husband or a friend to go, too. I thought about doing the Sip Club. The torturers are torturing me Much less. But do I trust them? NO! I do not trust them. If I bought a Sip Club card, they'll put one of their thuggies in place to torture me, when I get a coffee, etc. Then I won't like going there, again, & I won't get my money out of the Sip Club. You see? Panera Bread, YOU should Go After Them!...
Read moreRUDE - Went when they very first opened and had a great experience and a really friendly drive through guy answer our questions about what they had available considering they just opened and our food was great. But we went back a few days later for more and had the most rude and short young lady at the drive through it worst experience we have ever had. We asked 2 questions at most and she was just sighing, making rude comments under her breath unlucky for her the mic there is very sensitive, her tone of voice was far from helpful or friendly and she was the same when we drove up to her for our order, just overall very unfriendly and someone who shouldn't be dealing with customers. We only ordered a cookie, muffin and Coffee because we just wanted to leave. We did mention that we could actually hear her over the intercom and she just said "well I wasn't talking about you" zero apology.
We are trying not to let this one experience put us off but we felt terrible after leaving and haven't gone back since yet. I hope when we return if we do and for others that they...
Read moreI came into Panera at 8:13 PM with my daughter. They close at 9 PM, but we were still welcomed warmly. We ordered from the self-serve tablets super easy and convenient and picked up our food in less than six minutes.
What stood out the most, though, was the exceptional customer service. At 8:42 PM, a group of five women walked in. I watched as Eden Garcia, who was working at the counter, greeted them with a genuine smile and incredible energy like the store had just opened, not like it was winding down for the night.
Even though it was close to closing time, she patiently walked them through the menu, answered questions about salads, and kept her positive attitude the entire time. All five of them completed their orders by 8:49 PM, and Eden never rushed them once. Her professionalism, grace, and joy in serving others truly stood out.
I actually went up to her to applaud her and thank her for such amazing service. Employees like Eden make the dining experience memorable. She deserves recognition for how beautifully she handled every...
