I really enjoy the food here so I really cannot give it a one start rating, but the prices are kinda ridiculous. My partner and I would usually come spend about ten dollars the most, now lately it's about 16 bucks ordering the usual breakfast items as before. So I started paying attention I noticed the menudo without lemons or onions is about 5.50 and just to ask for them with your menudo is 6.85!!! Don't you think that's kinda of crazy to pay almost 1.35 for something they give free with teas(Lemons)! But the caldo de pollo and beef are the same price but wouldn't beef be more since it's a little pricey in the market. Also I agree with other reviews the staff is kinda of rude I feel bad because like I said the food is delicious, but since it's a small business family owned and operated maybe the owner shouldn't hire family and friends it brings down the revenue with the guest. I know it's busy but at the same time their not professional their rude and unfriendly it's not a warm welcoming, and then they automatically add the tip with the bill when in actuality they don't deserve it because they do bare minimum knowing it doesn't matter because they'll still get the money. But if you do go and want good service go to the secluded area there is a server female a little bit older she's the best I'm assuming she knows what she's doing and goes above and behind very time I sit in...

Really bad service when we first arrived, we waited to be seated, just like the sign says. Then a young girl said the people in front of us then we were next she grabbed some menus. I believe it was several menus because after following her, she just put the menus on one table and kept on walking never told us to sit down so we figured that we had to follow her because she did say Follow me in the beginning And she still had the minis on her hand anyways, we told her where do we sit she pointed to the back table. She never put minions on the table blur we were supposed to sit at. The menus that were left in her hands she gave them to another table a group of people that were already sitting down. We waited for five minutes till some older lady with glasses came to our table and asked if we were ready to order we did not have menu. She brings them and we told her that we’re ready. She had bad attitude when speaking to us like if she was in a rush, turning her back while talking to us and like walking away, we decided to leave because it was already bad service. We told the girl in the front that we were not going to wait for our food. ...

I love this place. I came here in April. My boyfriend is a native of San Antonio, and he brought me to Texas from Baton Rouge, Louisiana during our college spring break. We went to Patty's 3 times in a span of 7 days because I love the food so much. The first meal I had in San Antonio after arriving at the airport was here! I had the beef and chicken puffy tacos during my first visit. For my second and third visits, I got the soft taco plate with ground beef, which came with refried beans and rice. Everything was excellent and so delicious! I especially loved the beans and rice. Something that is really important to me when eating tacos is the quality of the chopped tomatoes and lettuce for the tacos, and I must say that the tomatoes and lettuce were so fresh and crisp. It really made all the difference. I will be returning to San Antonio next month, and I already told my boyfriend that Patty's Taco House will be our FIRST STOP on the way home from the airport. The waitresses and host were also very kind. The prices are also very good. Super cheap, a good amount of food, and...

From 5 tables to 40 years: Legendary taco house marks 4 decades in San Antonio 🎉 Cofounder Patty Reyes was just 25 years old when she and her parents, Juan and Margarita Sepulveda, opened Patty’s Taco House in 1985. The restaurant had humble beginnings, with just five tables in a small dining room on Hackberry Street, and it was mostly word of mouth that initially brought folks in the door. 🌮 After 40 years, Patty’s Taco House still acts as one of those unifying spaces on San Antonio’s Southeast Side, where generations of families and devoted customers have long gathered to eat their Tex-Mex favorites with an ample helping of hospitality. 👨‍🍳 📍2422 S. there was a ROACH in the green sauce, I told the girl at the register she didn't seem to really care and didn't act like there was a problem just told me that she would inform the other register girl. After the other one showed up they sat there a kept working as nothing was wrong and looking at me. I went ahead and informed my waitress and she immediately asked if I wanted a new plate, I said no because I had to go to work and some time had Alerady passed just waiting and After a while goes by finally the original waitress comes and says she didn't charge me for my plate. I would have happily paid in full if they replaced my plate immediately. I'm not sure if I even wanna go back I usually have great food but I never look In the sauce before I use it but will definitely do so now everywhere else. (The waitress did remove the green sauce from the table)
